Needed: 12v adaptor for BB passthru

I'm looking for a 12v to USB adapter for the BB Passthru. I have yet to find one that can handle the current draw. If anyone knows of one, please post it as I am sure I am not the only one looking for these.

Believe it or not, your local Walgreen's should have this in stock:

Although the web page doesn't show the specs, it is rated at 1000ma.

Is 1000mA enough?

This one is *rated* at 2000mA. I have not used it.

Also, any iPhone charger works as well. Car adapters, wall chargers, you name it. They are pretty easy to find at many gas stations 'n stuff & of course any electronics store. The iPhone (or iPod) cable is compatible with the phone or pod on one end & they all have a universal USB plug on the other end. I use mine whenever with no issues. Just FYI...

Don't forget to check the output. It should say 5V 1Amp. The 1Amp is important. I have a 700mA one that works but does not get to 5V.

The stock iPhone wall charger reads:
input 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 1.0A
output 5V 1A

I might be interested in trying a 2A one. Sounds like it might be a wee bit stronger, though still 5V
