Ok so I have been vaping for 18 days on a 650 MAH ego battery with CE4 clearomizers. Doing ok haven't had an analog in 17 days. I have a question on tanks. It sees my CE4's are beginning to taste burnt. (Yes I have cleaned then and dry burned them) I guess i'm asking what would be a better tank to use? My local B&M They carry lclear16 & lclear 30 also KangerTs3 and Kanger Protank..... I am one who doesn't want a huge tank . The CE4/Kanger is probably the biggest I would want to go.Which is the better between the lclear & Kanger? What is the difference?I am not the smartest or most mechanically inclined person out there.LOL Someone please help I AM SO CONFUSED and don't want to give up and go back to the "Stinkies!"

I only have experience on carto tanks and Protanks, but I will say the Protanks have been the least trouble. Whether it's the Protank, Protank II or the mini, they all use the same heads. The key to all of them is to prime the heads before firing them up. I use the little condom that the spare heads come in, fill 1/3 full of juice and slowly put the head into it until juice comes out the shaft. That way there's no burning once you install it in the tank. Lately I've been removing one of the flavor wicks for thicker juices or high VG, which is super easy as I am not mechanically inclined either. The procedure will be the same regardless of which protank version you have. PBusardo has videos on the protank that shows how to do it here:

For small tank I would do either the iclear 16 or the kanger evod. Both have been very good flavor for me. With the iclear you have to kind of tilt and swirl the tank when juice level gets low. Never tried the t3 so can't comment on that. Like you I did not enjoy the ce4 tanks and are now collecting dust.

All of my battery devices are mods with 510 connections, so I prefer using those clearomizers that fit without a 510-ego adaptor. That would be the Innokin 30 and the Kanger Protanks. Another option you didn't mention is the Vision Vivi Nova and Mini Vivi Nova. All of these clearomizers will fit an ego battery by the way.

The bottom coil/bottom wicked clearos can be a little tricky to remove off of the battery if not careful - unscrew the tank while leaving the base behind on the battery can cause you to leak whatever juice is left in the tank all over your battery.

Having said that, I prefer a more cooler vape which the bottom coil clearos provide - these are the Protank and Evod.

The top coil/top wick clearos give a slightly warmer vape and are easier to fill as you don't have to remove the entire clearo from the battery to refill, just unscrew the top cap. These are the iClear 16 & 30. You also have to remember to frequently tilt the top wicked clearos to keep the wicks saturated with juice to prevent dry or burnt hits, something you don't have to worry about with the bottom wicked Evod and Protanks.

My personal favorite of the above is the Innokin iClear 30. Dual coiled and 16 wicks provides a lot of flavor and vapor with no dry hits. Larger juice capacity than the other clearos (3 ml). Easy top fill. Swivel drip tip is similar to my all-time favorite drip tip the Knucklehead. Available in colors. 510 connection. If it were pyrex, it would be perfect.

I did not have any major issues with the others mentioned above. I ocassionally would have blank hits (no vapor), which resolved with me increasing the voltage and doing a dry burn without puffing. Probably caused by a gunked up coil.

That's my experience shared. I hope that helps some.

I've been caping since the end of July, and just received my first major order, slow boat from China. I order what I thought was a lot. x8 CE4s, a vivi nova and a vivi nova v-core, x10 protank, dbox puritank and a kanger protank2. Also got a vamov3 for my first non ego mod. I do have 2 1000mA ego-t's that do just fine. Of all of them, I prefer the protank2, easiest to clean and take apart. But since I have so many ce4's ive been filling them with all different flavors to mix and match all day long. At the end of the day, they are all very similar and it comes down to preference, which may change throughout the day. Sometimes I want a heavy cigar shaped vape, and sometimes a lighter quick in the pocket thing. The ce4 are pretty much priced as a disposable, as long as you don't get them from your local gas station. I hadn't even seen an evod, but I think that might be what I get next instead of the ce4 or ce6

I have had great luck with Kanger T3's and Evods. Those are daily users for me. I also have Vivi Nova tanks and a Kanger Protank which sounds larger than what you are looking for. So check out the Kanger Evods. I think they will work for you. Good luck and stay off the smokey death sticks. If I can do it.....believe me anybody can.
