Hello everyone,

I promise I've googled my issues, tinkered with my device, and been to the place I bought it at least six times - nothing is working. I recently bought an e-GO 900 mah battery with an Aspire bottom-coil tank. After I bought it, the first coil burnt out in about a week. I keep the voltage relatively low, and I take long easy hits off of it. I went back to the store and they replaced the coil no issue. Well, it started to leak next. I'm not filling the tank too high and I'm not getting it into the middle tube when I fill it. After I clean it out, let it dry, and then refill it, it will work fine for about an hour or two, and then I start to hear the gurgling and start getting liquid in my mouth.

I've taken it back to the store and they've replaced my tank twice - it's still happening. They told me that if this one doesn't work, then it has to be me. However, I've listened to everything they've told me to do. I don't mess with the coils or anything. Nothing that I do is helping it. I've cleaned it all out, replaced the coil and filled it to the optimal level at least five times. I've tried everything that I can think of. Does anyone know anything about this or have any suggestions? I would really like to try and fix it before I go back to them and get another mouthful of "what I'm doing wrong". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you take a toke is it a tight draw? if so it sounds like your air holes are blocked causing you to suck up fluid causing a gurgling noise. Also, check that coil to ensure it's tight. They can come lose and cause leaking as well. Another thing is on the bottom of the atomizer where it screws in (the contact) there is an area where a small flat head screwdrive can fit and you may need to tighten by a half turn or more. Check all these.

How would I know if the air holes are blocked? I turned it a couple times, but it doesn't feel like it's actually tightening - would you be able to feel that?

hardly an expert here so my advice may be the dumbest you've ever seen. However I'll share it anyways ;) lol

I had similar experiences with my kanger protank II, I would clean it, fill it, attach it, and go. It was fine for a while, an hour maybe, then I would go to grab it and find liquid leaking from it, go to fire it and get lots of gurgling. After a closer inspection from getting fed up of juicy pockets I realized the O-ring around the base was shredded and wasn't providing a good seal. Changed that, cleaned everything up and it has been fine since.

As for the burnt taste, again I'm not sure, but it sounds like juice is not making it to the wick for that symptom...

I am not an expert either.....but I also experienced these same issues. I still do after 5 months analog free.....I got tired of replacing the coils on all the evod mt3's I was using. I started searching the internet for explanations and found youtube to be a wonderful friend to the new vapers out there. I discovered how to recoil the coils using cotton for the best flavor or you can use silica wick. It's a personal choice when it comes to finding what you like and what works for you. The whole e-cig vaping instead of smoking has now become a hobby for me. Starting up cost for all the gadgets and tools and what not can be expensive, but I have spent here and there and now I have a nice collection of mods and tanks and rba's and rda's. As far as a burnt taste I'm sure if it taste burnt to you it is. Some e-liquids just don't wick like they should IMO. Try some different flavors and different mixes of pg/vg ratios. Remember that with vaping everyone's taste are different. What taste like heaven to you may be heck for someone else. Keep working at it and hopefully watching all the great youtube reviews and tutorials will help to encourage you. It did me and I'm one happy vaper!!!

mke sure when you take the bottom part off to fill your tank that you arent loosening the atty that is screwed into the bottom. make sure it is tight every time you refill.. Other than that, the tank should not leak.. there is also lots of clearomizers out there and some will work better than others. Hang in there and dont give up..

Your ultimate goal will most likely be rebuildables.. that will come in time.. try some other type clearomizers..

Don't know about the leaking, I've never seen an Aspire BDC leak or gurgle, but that may be just me. But, here's something I do when changing the coil head in an Aspire: Put the new coil head on the base, and drip 2 drops of juice directly into the top center hole of the coil. Then fill your tank. After filling, drip one more drop of juice into the coil, and assemble. Let it sit for a minute, then vape away. I've NEVER had a burned, dry hit using this method, with 50/50 juice.
