Hey everyone. I have kind of a "pseudo" emergency this weekend. I have only 1 needle tip bottle left to use with my eRoll and it's leaking. I tried to plan ahead and order some online but they came in the mail today, I excitedly opened the box, and the needles are WAY too long to carry in my pocket. I'd either stab myself in the leg or get arrested. ;) So they've been relegated to the at-home-only pile.

From experience, does anyone know if they sell 5ml or 10ml bottles with (reasonably not gigantic) needle tips at Michael's? I know little to nothing about craft stores and don't want to wander around the aisles like a creep, or walk there in the rain for nothing.

There is also an Ace hardware in the area but I don't need a 50 gallon barrel, or a chainsaw (well, not yet). Thanks ECF!

I guess you don't DIY and have any small syringes you could use for now.

Pharmacies should have needles. Although I'm not sure what you would say you were using it for.

I already feel awkward using a bottle on the street. I can only imagine what I'd feel like whipping out a syringe. "Oh don't worry, folks, this isn't what you think it is. This is merely to fuel my addiction. Wait, no! I didn't mean--" *handcuffs*

On that note, I'm off to check out a brick and mortar. I'm sure to return with a bag full of batteries, tanks and juice I didn't intend on buying, but zero needle tip bottles.

Craft store!

Also, cooking stores. Syringes and bottles with tips are used for a lot of things, including cake decorating. Some of the tips are fairly fine and might do for a while until you can get your needled bottle order in.

Amazon.com can deliver quickly, and you might find a local supplier on eBay where you can stop in--or get some other ideas on where to look.

Another thought--try a scissors. You can use a scissors to render a sharp tip needle to a blunt tip, if you're careful you can probably shorten the needle as well.

Try one first just to make sure you don't collapse the needle's interior and pinch it shut.

Well, here's the official answer: I went to the Michael's craft store in my neighborhood and they don't have any needle tip bottles! I even showed my bottle to an eager employee there, and he walked me around to show me a) bottles that are filled with paint, b) dropper bottles full of glue, and then c) glass vials that have cork stoppers. Uh, no, buddy, but thanks for your effort. :D

Ultimately, I decided to just throw some eRoll tanks in a little case I have that is meant for 808 cartos and it works fine.
