Tighten the pin on the firing button all the way down, adjust the top pin so the atomizer you want to use sits flush, unscrew the firing switch, insert battery, tighten everything up from the top down. Basically you set the atomizer up to sit flush, put the body together, then adjust with the firing button to make everything else happy.

yea i tightened everything up from the top down and the firing button doesn't sit flush. the button is also pretty crunchy and hard to press. thinking i should get the magnet upgrade...

I am going to get the magnet upgrade as well but most of what is crunching is not the springs. I sanded with 1500 grit wet/ dry sand paper the inner brass part of the switch and the outer SS shaft of the switch. Then used a dermal tool with a felt buffing wheel I ground down so it would fit inside the brass piece and some rubbing compound and polished both pieces to a nice mirror finish. I then put some gun oil on a q-tip and lightly brushed the inside of the brass and outside of the stainless steel. Put everything back together and it's silky smooth.

Yea I get a little obsessed when I want and end result, but I got the result I wanted. Besides it was driving me nuts every time I depressed the switch and felt that grinding/crunching so I made sure when I was done it would never have it again :)

Just ordered a Nemesis and kayfun from FT. Honestly, I'd feel a lot worse about these clones if the originals weren't perpetually out of stock. The existence of the clones obviously isn't hurting the OEM manufacturers. There'll always be those people that are willing to pay 5 times as much for some kind of bragging rights.

Ok I figured out it was the spring. It's crooked as hell! It's a little bit better by bending the spring.

Total Disappointment
Latest FT shipment - Neme Clones

Top cap air ring misalignment 30* off to right
Bore no longer accepts Kick
i.e. Sigelei-K is smaller than Evolve and will NOT fit Kick ring or 18650 tube for 18500/kick use.

If these are still Hcigar - QC has been replaced by increased production/Greed.

Main Tube could be shaved to align and Bored to fit kick, but cost is completely prohibitive.

I do suppose it was worth the $30 spent. I at least now know I need to save and plan to purchase an Original.

As to function - 9/10(due to kick issue)
Easy to set up
Easy to reconfigure
Great feel in hand
Excellent conductivity, even in 18350 mode it runs my 1.4ohm RSST and sizzles a 1.9ohm T3-mini(lol)

Hate to hear that. Not to be callous, but I hope that yours is an isolated case. It sucks that you got a bad one, but until I see another report of similar problems I think we should write it up to a bad unit.

On ft forum i found completely opposite review:

Ordered 2, got 2 different versions
I ordered this on the original release date and one more right after I received my first one (a month later.) There are noticeable changes between the two. The most notable is the overall higher quality on the newer one. The laser engraving is deeper and much more bold. The air hole indicators on the top cap are not drilled out on the new one as well, rather there are small indentations to indicate where to line up the holes. The steel brushing seems better and more coarse. The slit in the positive post is wider and more even. The air hole ring is better fit and slides more easily. These are just the changes I noticed right away, but the craftsmanship on an already impressive mod only got better. Good work!

Obviously it is just famous Chinese quality control....
