I found a way to tell if it is the legit nemesis or fake nemesis. In all of my brother and my nemmy all the battery air hole right under the locking ring are directly under the logo. Even all the mods on Atmomixani.Gr facebook is directly under the logo. In my fake nemmy and all the photos out right now of the clone/counterfeit they do not line up. I could be wrong just don't rip me a new one please.

Good find. I had to go look at my "real" Nemi; and you're right. The foot on the logo points directly at the vent hole under the lock ring.

Funny thing is on my Kalafan, the vent hole is a bit to the left of the logo but on my VW, it's directly under the logo
And I noticed that there is a little difference in the letter "B" between the Real and Clone. On the clone, the 'stroke' is not joined to the "B"

I can't post the original thread of where I got the pictures on this post, but I'll give credit where credit is due.

Which one is real, which one is the clone? Or are they both clones or are they both real?

She/He is complaining how hcigar didn't send her/him a top pin. There you can see the engravings at a different angle from a distance.

which mod is that in the middle of the last photo?
is that the 14500 bagua clone? ...ive been wondering how my AGT would look on one of those.

The train also has extra lil circles inside the side lines on the clone, the original has just 2 stright lines on sides with no circles inside....

Got mine from fast tech today. Over all very impressed. This thing is a looker, has great weight, and functions beautifully. The locking ring is a nightmare in terms of threads, may need to sand them down a bit. The button seems to prefer being pressed towards the center (the travel is tight so a a side press tends to misfire). Curious it comes with a full size steel-ish looking spring (nickel? I dunno) and a cut down brass spring which I ended up pulling out. More later ;) :vapor:

the real one has that cut brass spring to...leave it in there i think its to keep tension on the button when standing up...

I figured that's what it was for. It stands up totally fine without it though, granted I've only tested with a Nimbus. Thank you for that!

brass spring is to improve conductivity , larger spring is for a stiffer throw, these both come stock with real nemesis, also real nemesis is also stiff on sides of button have to push in center, I have a magnet upgrade from atmomixani, they are silver plated for conductivity but they will cost you twice what you paid for your clone

Interesting thread. I just got a Hcigar Nemesis (with the dark brown box not from FT, although have one on order with FT) and earlier today was comparing to a real VW Nemesis. The HCigar clone (replica really) and the real are damn near identical. Vent hole on my clone is the same as the real Nemesis, see the pic I just took. There were only two differences I could detect:

1) The engraving is a bit deeper on the real Nemesis
2) The engraving at the bottom of the button is like shown a few posts back. The font is slightly different like above posts.

This mod really does hit like a beast and looks rad in 18350 mode. Incredible quality for the prices, I am quite amazed.

Out of the box after I did a thorough cleaning I did notice that the switch was a tad scratchy when not depressed dead center. The owner of the real Nemesis said his was like that also when new but will break in with use. About an hour ago I took a closer look at the switch and noticed that where the brass base contacts the SS center post on the button was not smooth, it was a tad rough with machining lines. I took 600 grit wet/dry sand paper and spent a few mins polishing the machining grooves. Started with the sandpaper dry and then wet. Then hand polished with Mothers polish the post area for a minute or so. Cleaned it all up and installed the switch. Low and behold the switch is now silky smooth!
