Hey everyone, I just received my Chemesis from FT yesterday, and I'm having trouble with the small tube. It's inner diameter is too small to fit a battery or a kick. It's close, but too small. Any tips on boring it out a little? Can I just use sandpaper?

I had that problem with my brass Chi You. I took a dremel with the small sanding drum and went around the inside of the tube to bore it out a little. That fixed my problem. Sand paper should work, but I would use some lower grit paper like 220 grit or something. That should make short work of it. Just take a little off at a time and keep rechecking it to see if the battery fits. Also, make sure it's not just one spot in the tube where it is smaller than the rest. You can check it by running your finger along till you feel it start to taper.

Would replacing the spring lower the voltage drop even more? its good stock already but i realize now using the chemesis more, that the button is hard to press in different angles. The chi you brass clone is nice short throw easy to push any angle. Ill probably switch to magnets if theres a cheap source but for now where can i get replacement brass springs for the chemesis button? I'm hoping it will make the button better and easier to push as its kind of annoying right now having to find the sweet spot to push whenever i pick it up for a vape

The button is designed in that way that the spring has nothing to do with the flow of current.

If it lt looks uneven, it's probably caused by the little locking pin being too long. Here's a thread about fixes for the switch.

yea my problem has nothing to do with the pin, i checked it and it sits flush with the firing screw. the delrin doesn't sit right on the brass thread.

I haven't seen that problem yet. Can you post a pic please if it's not too much trouble? Maybe I can help.

I just did both those fixed, shortened the pin and pushed the big spring into the notch. Improved the switch quite a bit.

That notch trick seems kind of obvious now that I did it, surprised I didn't think of that before. The pin would have been harder to spot, it's just barely too long, just a hair. But when the pin is screwed down it's easier to notice since the pin becomes slanted a bit when it's too long.

Yeah they're really easy fixes. I had to study the pin for a little bit to see what happening. The base screw sitting crooked was definitely harder to find. Making the little locking pin flush is really good for consistent firing. And setting the spring in the groove made my switch really smooth. I think the magnet conversion will make this switch even better. I'm glad that some Nemmy clone owners are able to use this info.

i got it locally and the seller swapped out the cap for me. still feels crunchy, ...? i bought a brass nemmy from him also, and that button is buttery smooth.

Yea I already posted in that thread under DEF the new switch the pin is still flush

Are you talking about the silver screw? Discussed couple pages back, you have to use an adhesive

You can take a pair of needle nose pliers and just snug it down a little bit. Once you do that it should'nt come loose again. You can also look at this thread to help you with other little fixes of the switch to make it smoother. Good luck

@vapero, I love that mod in your avi. But it should use Duct Tape instead of the electrical tape. And be sure to WD40 that connector.

Have you measured the voltage drop with a 0.01 ohm coil??
