@vapero, I love that mod in your avi. But it should use Duct Tape instead of the electrical tape. And be sure to WD40 that connector.

Have you measured the voltage drop with a 0.01 ohm coil??
I have no idea how to measure the voltage drop also that mod is just an emergency mod (I have the wire ready when needed but that battery is part of my daily rotation so it got disasembled!)

14mm outer diameter? That seems like it could cause trouble.

I really have no clue. Like I said, someone on the FT forum claimed they would work, and at $3.90 shipped for ten I figured it was worth it. I've already got a couple other various sets of ring magnets from other mods (like the Sturm), so if these don't fit they go in my parts box to be used in the future.

AFAIK we need 14mm inner diameter, i'm not sure this will work.

Edit: after Firestorm's post I finally measured my switch (I should do this before order) and with small locking/conductivity pin it is 9.9mm. Outer diameter should not be critical, parts with threading is about 18mm.

Original magnets are 17x14x1mm, but 19x14x1mm also fits, there is discussion on ft forum about this magnets. I never tried them, but on local forum in my country we made small coop and ordered 20 pieces. When they arrive i will post here are they fit.
But they are definitely not expensive ;)

These magnets DO NOT work. Don't waste your money on these. Real Nemesis switch magnets from Atmomixani are 17x10x1 - don't listen to people who suggest otherwise. These other magnets are a pain to get in and settled. I have a very short throw on my Nemesis switch and when I screw in the switch these magnets stick to something in the mod and then the switch doesn't move or fire, at all. The suggestion to buy and use these magnets is a bad one - don't waste your money like I did.

Thank you!

Have some N52 magnets with the same dimensions coming from a FB GB here, not silver plated but it's like ~$0.20/magnet. Should arrive sometime next week, will report back with the results. :D

According to the members post on FT, these magnets worked for him. For 3.50 it doesn't hurt to try them out and if they don't work in the Nemmy they might work in another mech. Did you buy these same magnets from this company? I'm not doubting your word, just interested. Thanks.

So get the official magnets or skip them? or are you against using magnets on the nemmy as a whole?

I've just watched the video instructions about installing the magnets by Atmomixani. Looking at the magnets in the video I can't see how these 14x9.5x1 magnets wouldn't work. They might have a tighter fit on the button post, but it looks as if they'd work. I'm hoping to hear more about Firestorms problems with these. There's also a GB on FB that was mentioned earlier that is much cheaper than what others are charging ($16!). I also found out that the silver plating on the original magnets will have no effect on your current. My friend works in electronic field and said its an unneeded process applied for aesthetics purposes. Chrome/nickel plating will work just as well as neither are part of conducting the current.

You have to sand them down a little bit, like 0.5mm, then it should work fine. Since they're 19mm and the diameter of the nemesis tube is also 19mm.

Actually the magnets we're asking about are 14x9.5x1.

I just got a message from dkwasa. He's the one that found the magnets. He says that the magnets work great straight from the package. Time to order some. :)

In response to the prior 'For magnets google "guys magnet ebay uk", and find there 19x14mm' post, I bought them from www.guysmagnets.com - the 19mm x 14mm x 1mm magnets.

I have four sets of magnets from Atmomixani. I'm a big fan of them and they work great and I'm waiting to get more. I'm open to other sources and I'm actively seeking them.
