I have cheapie fasttech Stingrray polished one and I like it lot, so I'm only assuming yours will be much better. It comes with magnet switch already, but I will still take apart and clean it and then use some kind of lubricant that conducts electricty well. I think you can do search on it.

I'm one of the few peeps that didn't start out with K100/101...I went straight into Nemmy, Magneto, and Chi you...let's say my magneto just sits and stares at me, yes I bought all three at once...now I'm like whatever...if I like the design and I can work with it..I'll tinker with it..

So not much out there I'm interested in these days..until I see more reviews on the Cloned 20/30 watter chips for the regulated devices coming out, I might save up for authentic Nemmy, Stingrays are out of the question..since flippers are on them like if they were like limited editions Jordans

Haha! Good stuff porkchop. Thanks for the feedback!

You're gonna love the stingray, especially the infinite version (have read nothing but good things about their clones). I recently received a brushed version from fasttech (unknown manufacturer, likely tobecco) and i've been greatly impressed by it. It also has less voltage drop than the SS nemmy (obv, given its brass).

Nice! Good to hear. How does it stack up to your Nemmy?

Hmm thats a tough one, i would say, at this point, i prefer the stingray to the nemmy, but the nemmy has a special place in my heart because its battle worn (has fought the concrete MANY times, lol) and still keeps chuggin along with minimal issues, WELL worth the ~$30 i paid for it (hcigar, purchased stateside from 101vape).

Sweet display!

More like over doing it...just don't get caught up like I did..honestly...people can talk about hit's like truck etc..but that depends on your build on atty..the only ones I regret is magneto and Oni (POC). Those are noticeable on the hits..esp the Oni clone mod which was clone of poor copy of clone of the Nzonic v3.

I hear ya man. The atty is "key" without a doubt. Overdoing it seems to go hand in hand with vaping hahaha! Oh well...it keeps things interesting

Pin replacement options we might find in your home;

Toothpick
Solid copper wire
Little nails
Plastic sprue from a model
A tumbler pin from a door lock
The coat hanger
Corn cob holder prong
Hinge pin from a small box
A needle bearing
Carbon fiber rod from the kids tiny helicopter
Drill bit

Any of these could work with a little imagination.

Just try to find the best fit for diameter and make sure its not bent.

The problem you had seems to be that the switch negative contact pin unscrewed enough to allow the pin to come out. This happens when the proper adjustment to fit the battery you are using isn't all the way tightened down (mine are unscrewed a few turns, flat tops) A bit of mechanical pencil eraser can be inserted into the switch base where the silver plated negative contact pin screws in, that let's the pin have something to snug up to and lock in place, it might take a couple tries to get just the right size but it works and doesn't hurt anything.

I don't use the pin in my nemesis switch at all. It doesn't bother me at all that it free spins once it is in place against the battery. I like it has now I can't over tighten it. When switching batteries I find it easier to loosen the topcap or top body tube a little then unscrew the switch out of the body.

When using the locking ring I just flick it with one finger to loosen or tighten it as needed. I do not squeeze it between two fingers as it is very thin and has a tendency to warp a little under pressure making it impossible to screw/unscrew. The stingray is the same.

Yes! Tubler pins from door lock, glad somebody thinks like me. After rekeying my house locks a couple times I have all kinds of these. Also I've found sanding and polishing any factory blemishes on the switch internals makes for turning an ok switch into a perfect switch, I can even fire it now by just the edge of my finger nail. Super smooth ;)
