Two of my 3 Stingray clones have nice switches. The switch on the third required the same sort of work as a typical Nemesis switch. At least I'd already worked on my Nemeses switches before I got that Stingray. Figured with the nice write up I'd pass along that the info would be useful if you get a bum Stingray switch.

I've been looking for an extended chimney for awhile now but since I'm unwilling to pay as much for the chimney as most of the clones I own I haven't gotten one yet. I figure a Kayfun with 5 sections worth of tank instead of the usual 3 would finally give me something that'd last the better part of a day.

I thought I saw someone in this thread asking about the semi-hybrid adapter and how it works exactly. This video is from the discussion thread at fasttech for the adapter but its buried in the huge amount of discussions there. It's in German but just the video explains well enough. Interesting part starts at about 4:00 in:

Should note that the expensive adapter has 2 holes in the brass piece as you'll see. These are to unscrew the adapter from the tube when the atomizer unscrews but the adapter doesn't. Worth the small amount of time and effort to drill a pair of holes yourself. Happens often with both my Nemesis and Stingray adapters.

What is the extended chimney for and what does it look like?

I still don't know what the two hole is for lol but mine is working flawlessly without it so can you tell me what is it for?

The extended chimney is just that, a chimney that's longer than normal. It lets you create a larger tank about the size of five of the sections instead of the usual 3. With a corresponding increase in capacity.

As far as the pair of holes, I mentioned it in the post. To remove the adapter should it stay behind when you unscrew the atomizer. Which happens with my adapters about half the time.

Hmm never heard of that chimney and it'll be too big for my taste too

I currently have five nemmy clones up and running. Two are 18650 with a kick2 with a kayfun modified to long mode. Two others are a brass and a copper nemmy in 18350 mode with a kick2 both with kayfun in nano mode. Fifth is standard 18650 with standard kayfun.

With the kick, does the mod still heat up bad? It seems everyone has an issue with the heat but I'm wondering if a kick would fix that issue. There was a guy in the vape shop over the weekend and he was saying how bad it heated up. An employee tried to fix it but nothing worked. I ended up telling the guy that it can most likely be the build itself. I subohmed and that mod would heat up super quick. It got worse when I upgraded to copper pins and magnets.

But I never thought about the kick as a solution.
