I'm a complete newbie, but I just started with a volt kit, plus a spare battery. I also got 2 sampler packs. I have nothing to compare against but I love it. In 2 weeks, it helped me go from a pack a day to 3-5 cigs a day.

I was told the volt batteries last better than most for the size. Again, I can't confirm, but for me, I chain vape at home when surfing the internet, and the battery lasts just long enough so that the one on the charger is ready to swap out. I got 1 65mm & 1 78.

As soon as you try a flavor from the sample pack you like, order bottles to refill the cartos. I can't give you advice on how long the cartos and fluids will last, since I just got started myself.

Good luck with whatever you choose. If it helps you just reduce the smoking, it is worth it.

Hey guys! So I never liked cigarettes. I never liked the smell, etc. etc.. I managed to quit once upon a time but picked them back up 7 months later. Now my wife and I both want to throw them away and I have heard great things about e-cigs.. more specifically "Blu". I have used many forums in the past geared toward specific topics in which I was concerned (automotive repair, car audio, etc. etc.) and get great results from veterans in the general area so I figured why not try the same with electronic cigarettes??

I have a friend name Shan who makes mods but to be honest I dont understand much when she attempts to explain the process to me. After doing a small amount of research it appears that these things can get pretty complicated with multiple battery choices etc. so I would prefer to just keep it simple for now.

What would you recommend someone start vaping with if they some 1-2packs/daily. Prefer quality, and needs to be a pipe (or whatever the term is.. look like a cigarette). I read that alot of people like the eGo for starters, is there a specific one? Is there a better brand that would be recommended? Im sorry for the book I have written here and I appreciate any advice!!

Hello!! I am fairly new to the ecig world, and like you came here for answers. I did about 2 weeks of research before I decided on the Volt from www.SmokelessImage.com. I spent roughly $50 on a starter kit and extra bottle of ejuice (which I highly recommend Ry4, it's deliciously wonderful!) I have now been cigarette free for over a week since receiving it, with NO problems whatsoever! (And I was about a pack and a half a day smoker). I like that with the automatic batteries (as opposed to manual, where you push a button to vape) the batteries are sealed, so when you refill the cartridges, if you overfill them and a little ejuice comes out the bottom, it will not ruin your battery (a feature I thought great for newbies, who are not familiar with how much ejuice should be added).

I also recently won a contest on www.ElectronicCigarettesReviews.net where I won an Ultimate Starter Kit from V2Cigs and Vapor Couture. I do not like the Vapor Couture line, but my husband loves the V2Cigs. Plus the cartridges from my Volt work with his V2Cigs!!

Anyhoo, I highly recommend the Volt. Smokeless Image is terrific, widely used by both newbies and long time users, and fairly priced.

Good luck on your new adventure!!! :)

PLUS you can get blank cartridges with both Volt and V2Cigs and fill with any of the hundreds of eliquids out on the market. I've been having a ball with it!! some of my favorite eliquid sites so far are Ms T's Bakery Essentials and Heathers Heavenly Vapes, Top Quality Custom E-Liquids.

I know as a newbie, I wanted to stick with a cig look-a-like, but only a week or so in, I"m already ready to explore the world of mods. It suits to taste, though!! It's fun to learn and explore all of it!

I understand completely with the over load of information. That's what I got when I joined, but I'm thankful for it! I don't have a kGo, but it's popular, and most likely, a good choice. I prefer the eGo Twist, which is variable volt

I understand that dual cores are meant for the units that can produce 6 volts. A kGo probably won't handle it, but I can be corrected on that. More simple, and popular here also is the Mini Vivi Nova. It comes with three heads so you can choose the resistance you like best. I do believe the lowest 1.8 head won't work too well with a kGo either. Ithink one needs a higher end unit so you don't burn up heads and juice, a Provari, for example.

Someone with more experience may say I'm all wet, but from what I've read, this is true.

ok so I have decided to go with the Kgo--> KGO kit1100mAh by SLB

Now I found a thread here about juice suppliers so I believe I have that covered.. Next questions that I havent really been able to find a definite yes or no to is about the clearomizers and cartomizers. Basically the same thing?? Ones just clear right? Also, will any clear/cartomizer that is 510 worth with the Kgo? The Kgo is 1.5ohms stable, but Im guessing it is capable of higher resistance, correct? Will the Kgo be able to run a dual coil without getting terribly hot? Im thinking I would like to go with a clearomizer with as much vape as possible therefore I would have to find a high resistance correct?

***UPDATE***

Got my Kgo and Vivi nova in the mail a week ago but had to wait over the weekend for some juice. Had 1 cigarette monday morning before the mail ran, but after that I have been cig free!! Granted there have been cravings and all of my friends and family smoke so it gets hard at times. 5 days down, 7.5 PACKS of cigarettes avoided and its getting easier! This is probably one of the best choices I have made.

**Vivi Nova Review**
Keeping in mind I was green before (and still am) getting this ecig. With that said I ran into the issue of a burning taste on 2 carts as well as the 1.8 & 2.4ohm heads of my Nova within a few days. Im pretty sure I will be able to avoid this issue in the future after doing a bit of research and reading that scheduled cleaning is a "must" (not to mention I attempted a "dry burn" without knowing what I was doing). I attempted cleaning the Nova 1.8 head and removed the coil without doing any research; however, it was burnt and needs rebuilt anyways. I was so impressed with the 1.8ohm head on the nova over the standard carts that I purchased 5 more from hoosier. Very noticeable difference in vape than the carts!! Ill probably purchase 3 or 4 more of these, some wick, and wire so I can just rebuild the heads myself (thanks PBusardo for the tutorial!!).

**Kgo 1100mah Review**
Got the V2 starter kit with 2 batt's. Not really sure what to say about this, it does what its meant to do. No problems of issues thus far, provides a great vape and each battery lasts me about a day and a half! Very satisfied and Im thankful to the individuals who recommended this combination to me as a starter kit! Very happy with it!

**Cleaning**
I read a thread about cleaning carts with works great for me. A member (Im sorry I am not able to remember the name as I cant give credit where it is due) recommended boiling the cart. I did this and found that, while the burn taste was still present, the cart was completely absent of any flavor of previous vapes and the burnt coil taste was nowhere near as strong as it was before.

Im sure this is all information that most members here are already aware of; however, I hope that my half-@$$ review will help some other newb.
