You may want to check all the ingredients, as you may be allergic to something in it.

Welcome! As you are new to this it may be a matter of your vaping style. Taking long drags implies to me that you are sucking the vapor into your lungs like you did with cigarettes. Not necessary and it can be irritating. Try shorter drags and "holding" the vapor in your mouth - versus drawing it down and into your lungs. There are a couple few videos, IIRC in the ecf library, that illustrate proper vaping technique.

What helped me a lot with this was to pull the vapor into my mouth slow and easy for about (3) seconds and then inhale into my lungs. After a few vapes I was taking (5) to six second pulls. This made a big difference for me. At first I was trying to inhale the vapor straight into my lungs and it felt horrible. Short slow pulls into the mouth and then inhale. Good or bad now I am double hitting on the same vape turning the switch off at just the right time and restarting for the second draw while allowing the smoke from the first draw out through my nose. mmmmmmm I can't get enough lol.

Drink lots and lots of fluids. If I'm vaping, I'm sipping on something. Experiment a little with some lemon or other flavorings for water. I'm surprised to find that I like lemon water, something I would never drink with a cig.

It also helps to slow the draw way, way down. Doing so helps wicking time and helps prevent hot air in the vapor stream. Take notice that in most videos, the reviewer takes forever and a day for a single puff. It's an easy habit to get into, and really worthwhile imo. At it's extreme, a starved coil will produce a vape that tastes horrible and may actually hurt the back of your throat. My theory is that slow wicking is the culprid behind many of the 'tastes burnt' complaints.

Like southernIL, I also find that I personally have to watch the amount of alcohol in my juice. I have a berry flavor that I can only vape for a few hours until I need to switch to something else.

Just experiment, and, hopefully, you'll soon come up with what works for you. Good luck, and happy vaping.

thanks everyone, sorry took me a while to respond to this threat, i've now switched to a VV lavatube with a cartomizer and love it, i have no problem with ether 100% pg juice or 100% vg juice. Problem was just the eGo-T i think, the A model was terrible, tried the b model it helped a bit, but still got dry burned taste from time to time ( also doesn't help that it was a joye ego i guess)

Try several types of juices, i read that vg is best for sensitive people, however you should only run pg in your tank as dormouse said. i use mostly High Caliber 50/50 in my ego t and havent really had any wicking problems. My buddy just started vaping with an ego-t and has been coughing with all kinds of juices. Im still trying to figure this one out. : (

My husband has never used an Analog before and when he saw me switch to vaping he would smell all the flavors I vape and want to try them. Now he's hooked with his own setup and loves it. But he complains of a dry, itchy throat and sometimes a burning or sore throat. He's never really inhaled analogs or vapor so he didn't know how to properly do it. I had to show him by taking in the vapor in your mouth first and then inhaling it into your lungs. Vaping is different then analogs, and it's something you have to get used to for sure. Another reason could just be the irritation from quitting Analogs.
