New AWs don't work in some mods

I recently switched from trustfire batteries to AWs and I noticed since they are shorter, they don't work in all of my mods. Is there a way to fix this issue? Thanks!

If the battery is not long enough by a bit or needs a button top, most people use a small magnet as a spacer. Here's an example Magnetic Battery Spacers - Avid Vaper The AW IMR batteries are excellent and hold their voltage a long time, so a spacer is worth it when you need it. Good luck!

Well you have gone from a fully protected, can't over drain, can't over charge and in the event of a short it will trip like a fuse, to an unprotected one. The protection circuit (PCM) adds to about ~2+ mm to the bottom of the cell due to the addition of a PCB.

Magnets can be used, but you didn't say the type of mod. In a metal tube mod ya gotta be careful that the magnet doesn't slip possibly causing a short.

I'd be more apt to use a small piece of secured conductive metal than a magnet. It's quite dangerous to use a magnet.

If it's a tube mod with a spring on the bottom, you might be able to put a couple flat washers under the spring.
