Does it take a while for the carto to start to absorb well? I dripped maybe 5 drops in the fresh carto and filled up the tank. Took some good primer puffs, the juice level went down as expexted and started vaping. I later looked at the filler and it was white as if it needed juice. Is that normal or does it take time to break in? Maybe drip a bit in the top now and again? Should there maybe be a hole at the top and bottom of the carto instead of 2 at the bottom? Not sure.

There's a fine line with these carto tanks between not enough holes to keep the filler wet all the way to the top and to many holes producing a flood, the viscosity of your liquid also plays a big role in how these setups work, I had the same issue with the Lil Mama single hole pre-punched carts, the filler material at the top dried out quickly after brief use...unfortunately it's not a perfect science and requires some trial and error fiddling.

In my limited experience, and this happened yesterday for the first time. Put a new Boge 3.0 carto in my SS lil Mama. Did some prime puffs and choked on the burnt taste. Next one errored my provari, but vaped like a 1.5 ohm on my Ego. Tossed them both.. next one ..worked great, like the other 40-50 cartos I have used. My point is , once in a while, they are just defective and can't be saved. Thats why I stock up when they are a buck a piece. And use the Ice maker splice saddle punch to make 2 holes in the carto.

Also, some last 4-5 days, some 1-2. I am learning that NOTHING beats a fresh carto every day or two, its like starting to vape all over again, and something I actually look forward to. Like that after meal cig used to be. lol
