Got them at my local brick and mortar bryansthl... vapin in the cape (you can google for website). They have changed quite a bit since that pre-release review. I wanna beat them up a little before I review so I can try to find all the bugs people complain about. So far so good. Only one minor complaint so far but expected for this design, no biggie though.

Same here. Got the finalized ones on the way. Have a pack of the 'unfinished?' ones and was disappointed to be getting burnt tastes as such low wattages, other than that they've been working fine, except 3 were DOA out of the box lol. I have no idea what voltage a 3.1 ohm CE3 is meant to be vaped at, but 3.8v seems fine, but I was hoping for at least 4.3. It will take a lot of experimenting, and unfortunately a lot of burnt wicking.

So I'm praying the finalized ones work like a charm, and I'm also waiting for a pack of GVs new CE2deluxe. Between these two things and IKVs new i06, by September I think I'll have a perfect vaping setup lol.

Thank for backin me zoiD. I was a little angered by that early review in that he bashed a test model as though it was final release. Just bear with me as I want to truly run them hard so I can "fairly" critique them.

LegioX, I'm running these new ones (2.4-2.7ohm, metered prefill at 2.60ohm) on my provari at 4.0v. I have varied throughout the day (45 min at a time) at 3.7v and up to 4.5v. I did not notice much of a difference between 4.0 and 4.5, just slight warmth difference.

I did notice about a 10% reduction in vapor and taste at 3.7, but thats expected for a mid range ohm carto (2.1-2.4's will probably be better for the 3.7v devices) BTW the vapor and flavor so far are great. Much better than the CE2's, no leaking at all, and no flooding.

Kinda interesting thing is since these are gravity/wick fed, when they are filled, and the wick is wet, they will come in a few tenths higher during an ohm check on the provari. Once wet they metered at 3.0, up from the dry 2.6. Makes perfect sense though as the liquid is causing more resistance.

More soon!

...

Reviews are done for many purposes. Most reviewers want to give impartial information about a product. But some are not so impartial.

There is also the issue of whether or not the Reviewer has a monetary interest in a Product. He/She might be selling them so he/she wants the product to look good. Or his/her competition may be selling them so he/she wants them to look bad.

But the Worst review that can be done is one on a Pre-Release product. I wonder if sometimes the Reviewer just wants to be the First to review something and or if there are motives that where list above.

I'm not saying that any of this applies to any particular review. Just reviews in general.

If anyone knows me, they know that I have been an Extremely outspoken about the Quality/Performance of the entire RS/MiT line since the beginning. But they also know that I have never spoken out about anything but Final Release Retail Products.

Companies have to have the ability to send out Beta Products and have people test them without the fear of having a non-final product Slammed on a forum like this.

If the Retail product turns out to be a poor performer, so be it.

I just don't like people getting the wrong idea about something because of One review done on a Non-Final release product.

After watching that review why would anyone waste a dime on that junk?...LOL...Thanks for the link.

I lived my life by the old saying beleave half of what you see and none of what you hear. Besides I like the ce2 xl cartomizers "not the clears" with a little modding but alot of other people call them crap.

On another note the guy in the video looks like he is trying to suck a golf ball through a garden house.

They have done a few changes to it since I did that review. It now has a wick that goes directly from that atomizer into the tank. I didn't think wicking was a problem, so I'm not sure why they changed this.

They have also switched to the same mouth piece as the CE2s...so maybe that will help with the juice in the mouth issue.

All that said...I felt like the whole thing was much cheaper feeling then the CE2s...they certainly use more plastic then metal and the filling method is horrible. You sill need tweezers to refill...that's stupid. I don't even want to use a syringe...why would I want to use tweezers in addition to a syringe?
