I am not joking, yesterday I bought new coils and I put one in my vape, I primed the coil and everything, and at first it tasted like a bit burned so I thought it was maybe because it was new and I continued vaping, and today the (Other Stuff) taste hit me when I burped, and I realized it legitimately taste like(Other Stuff).
I don't have (Other Stuff) in my house or smoke, and none of my friends smoke it. I only tried it a few times 2 years ago so I know the taste.

I don't know what is going on. Maybe I am going insane.

Oh I didn't know sorry.
No problem, mate. ;) Since you appeared to be new to the forum, I suspected you didn't know.

My guess is what you are experiencing is a burnt wick. Once a wick is burnt, there is no recovery. Consider it to be ruined. That "taste" may also have been transferred to the liquid in the tank.

Start the process over again by replacing the coil, and perhaps the e-liquid in the tank: Clean the tank. Prime a new coil, and add new e-liquid. Try not to burn the wick.

Ok, I will try that and see.
Thanks!

Welcome to ECF, and I hope it's all sorted out. IDK why you'd get that taste, was it the same juice as you were using before? Sometimes eliquid will taste "off" at certain wattages (I mean depending on the person). Start low and slow with wattage and gradually move up until the taste and the vape are satisfactory. You don't necessarily need to run as high a wattage as is printed as far as recommendations on the coil either. It could be you just got a bad coil though, it does happen and etc.

A well primed coil is usually a happy coil, it's worth taking the time to do it slowly. If you get the sense that wicking isn't going well e.g. decreased vape production, strange tastes, or inconsistent vapes, you may want to judiciously poke a hole or two into your cotton (don't overdo it) but sometimes it helps with wicking issues.

Best of luck and welcome to ECF.
