Hey guys,

Due to the fact that fiddling with the firing pin on my MVP2 when switching between an iClear 30 and a Kanger tank is a HUGE inconvenience, I'm looking for a new mod. Now, before anyone says it, ProVari is not an option right now. I don't have that sort of money with everything else I've got going on.

I need it to be pocketable but sturdy, have a reasonable battery life (internal or external, I'm not particularly bothered) and be reasonably inexpensive.

I was looking at the sigelei ZMax but unsure on everyone elses thoughts? Anyone got any others that might fit my needs?

Any thoughts on the Vamo V5 compared to the ZMax? How big are they size wise?

Heard good things about the Zmax and Zmax mini, never used one that's just what I've heard. I have an Evic that would still be in rotation if I hadn't cross threaded it
It worked well for me plus you can buy aftermarket accessories like the 18350 tube. Can't remember how much I spent on it but I know it was less than $80USD.....

You might also be able to find some reasonably priced DNA20 mods out there since the 30 came out recently. Anyway that's my

As for the MVP suggestion, I already have one but as I mentioned the firing pin is becoming a nuisance.

Had a look at the eVic but I don't really like the look of it, I don't know why.

So far it's looking like a Vamo V5, looks great.

Any other suggestions?

How about the SVD? People seem to like them. Only problem with the zmax and vamo ect is they have the 33.3 chipset so they will have the ''rattlesnake'' affect. The MVP actually has a better smoother power output than those devices.

Most devices I have I will have to mess the pin. Get a mech with an adjustable pin. If you want VV or VW grab a kick type.

i have a zmax v3 and it's great. made well, stainless steel threads, no problems.
