One (out of my 6) new diamond shorties has decided to behave oddly.
I can take 2-3 puffs, the next puff does nothing; no led, no vapor, nothing. Might get nothing the next puff, then if works, then it doesn't. It's very hit or miss.

I know it wasn't like this when I first got it, but it has been acting up for a few days at least.
The other 5 new diamonds are behaving themselves just fine.

Is this something I have done with my beginner juicing, or a faulty battery?

OMG  I just spelt vapour as 'vapor'. Am I spending too long here 'talking' to Americans???

Run it over with your car a couple of times!

This works better than personal insults? Ridicule & taunting? I'm going about it all wrong...

Battery doesn't look at all dirty, no discolouration or anything, still shiny & new looking.
I did try lifting the post, but perhaps not high enough, from what you're saying M'Dir. Do you mean to lift it as high as the actual thread top? Is there a risk of breaking it off by doing that?

As high as the thread top Ms. Katz, it won't break. Use a sewing pin or the like and push up the post through each air intake hole as far as you can rotating from hole to hole. I'll post pics on how to do it friday (next day off from school and work).

Thanks M'Dir. I tried searching for the post, but didn't find it. I must admit I'm rather hesitant to try raising the post that high, so I will wait for your pics.

Katz, a quick way to raise the post - if you have fingernails - is to insert your pinky fingernail in the area b/t the post and sidewall, turn the battery around a time or two, post will be raised. I use that technique all the time with my diamond XL's.

Well SAG, response to my ticket was to try raising the post, as Morandir suggested. This, I have done, right up level with the top of the threads, and recharged. I am using it tonight to see how this goes. So far it has not missed any inhalations. I shall report back when I find out how long it holds its charge now.
