I finally got my GS starter kit in the mail about 4 or 5 days ago. So far I haven't had any complaints or problems with it. I also like many others bought GS before I found this forum. Upon visiting their website they looked like a legit company with a good product althought EXTREMELY expensive compared to other e-cigs I had found. Unforunately I didn't put two and two together at the time and quickly realized all the good reviews I read and seen on youtube were sales reps for the company trying to promote their product. I haven't had problems so far but now I'm starting to second guess myself.

Anyway.. their tobacco marl flavor is awful. That's the only one from GS I've tried but I don't wanna pay 15 bucks for a pack of 5, especially after I've read their flavors aren't that good. After reading this forum along with others, I decided to check out Vapor4Life. I thought about getting the Vapor King Ultimate Shorty Kit. I can get exactly what I got with GS's starter kit plus a lot more for half the price. It's seems like the smart thing to do. I have about a week until my 30 day money back guarantee is up for GS, but I'm seriously considering sending it back and getting this kit. If I hadn't of bought e-liquid from totallywicked and refillable cartridges for GS, there's no way I'd be able to use it, because the tobacco is awful.
Just hoping to get some feedback from this and see what you guys think. Would this be a good idea? I do love the vapor I get from GS, but it seems I made an expensive investment on something I didn't need to pay $150 for.

Wow, Mel...your story is pretty much identical to mine. Found GS before this forum, got caught up in their slickness, jumped the gun and got a starter kit. I really cannot say I am disappointed with GS, it does produce a lot of vapor, and it did get me off analogs (3 weeks now), but they are quite limited in their product line. Yes, Marl is pretty bad, but I found the Tobacco and Vanilla to be pretty good.

I ordered the Ult Ult kit from V4L on Monday and it shipped yesterday, I am really looking forward to trying it out. It offers so much more in a starter kit than GS has on their entire website.

I am keeping my GS kit and most of the carts I have for it as back-ups. I have already saved that initial expenses' worth in the analogs I have not bought :)

Hyde, you probably won't find a lot of info on greensmoke here because we do not approve them as suppliers here due to the outrageous health claims on their site.

Lu

And their very high prices. My first PV was a GS. The e9 batts were good at first, but soon did not charge well. The carts all tasted yick...found out it was PG I didn't like. I actually got two kits because, well, I was noob dupe, like many others here. After I got the 510, I was kicking myself because I could have gotten a ton of great 510 gear for the money.

GS is a pricey ripoff. Do not get one. My opinion anyway. It is NOT a "vaper monster" as was extolled in those vids.

Can't comment on the VK. I'm 510 only these days.

GS has definitely helped me get off of analog cigs, haven't had or even really craved one since sunday, so 4 days. I definitely get the nicotine buzz and the vapor is insane. But they also aren't selling the refillable cartridges anymore, so when my 5 I have die I'm screwed. I really am considering sending it back (if they're not jerks about it). I've had a horrible experience with their customer service. If you can get them to answer the phone or respond to an email, they're pretty rude. Atleast they were to me.
I think I may get this VaporKing kit though. I wont get as much vapor I'm sure but atleast they have more to offer and it wont cost me $50 for a new battery if one ever messes up. It seems like the logical thing to do.
I would keep my GS kit and get the VK so I'll have a backup, but us college kids who work part-time are on a budget :) lol

I only called GS customer service once, and yeah, they weren't all that pleasant. Good luck sending your starter back, hopefully they will be cool about it - it is their guarantee after all.

My Vapor King came today and it really is a great kit. The vapor may not be quite as insane as the GS, but it puts out plenty. Plus, the TH is better, as well as the flavors. Great people over at V4L.

Yeah I got sucked into the Greensmoke propaganda as well. So eager to get off the real ones I pulled the trigger too soon as well. I will say that it's gotten me off the analogs which I'm happy about but it seems as though I paid a bit too much for them. I tried calling their customer service the other day because I got two carts that were defective and their number was disconnected....

Anyway, found this site after searching for different e-juice after I dismantled the 2 carts that didn't work and squeezed out the juice into one that did work. It gave me the idea to start looking for something similar...

So correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I've gathered the Greensmokes are E9's... If that's the case, then you should be able to go here:

http: //e-cig.com/shopping/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=5&cat=E%2DCigarette+E9

and get the same thing for much less. The packaging looks exactly the same as that of Greensmoke's except without their name on it. Their carts are cheaper and they have blanks to fill with third party e-juice as well.

Too bad my 30-day period is over with Greensmoke or I'd be returning it for the E9 kit I linked above. I like having the two piece set-up. I will buy more batteries through the link above rather than the $60 that Greensmoke wants for what looks to be the exact same thing.

With that said and if they are the same (someone more knowledgeable please correct me if I'm wrong), then my future purchases will be through the above link rather than with Greensmoke.

Yes, GS are e9's, and these should work. If you like the cartomizer system, you might consider the kr808d-1. Batts last much longer than the e9 and it is the most popular 2-piece system here. Kits are about $60, I think. My GS batts hardly hold a charge now, and I didn't use them much before going with the 510. Don't know how the other e9's are, maybe the same. It is not a popular type of PV here. Before you start spending even more $ on e9 gear you might want to just say live aand learn and get a PV that has a good following here, which will likely be less money in the long run anyway, and you will get more info on it here, and much more enjoyment. Just my opinion.

Kurt thanks for the info... I do like the cartomizer/2-piece system and I was so eager to get off analogs that during my rushed search to buy something the Greensmokes were the only ones that I ran across that were 2-piece in design. I'll look into the kr808d-1's (I'm guessing that's a 2-piece system as well????) before my GS battery dies on me so I can already have a back up on hand.

The important thing is that you are off of analogs and on your way to finding the right system. The KR808D-1 is a 2-piece system, and there are various companies that offer it. V4L sells it as the Vapor King, and it pretty much blows the E9 from GS away, imho. Their cartomizer selection is fantastic, as well.

Thanks Everybody. I went with vapor4life. Got the ult auto kit. I also got a long manual battery, then they through in a manual battery. I think now I'm used to it i like the manuals more. I got my kit on the 9th and i haven't had a analog yet. I read a post in here about getting glycerin and adding a few drops to your carts to up the vapor output i ordered it at walgreens tonight. Has anyone else using V4L had issues with the carts having a burnt taste? Might just be my luck.

I got my V4L Ultimate Auto Kit in the mail today, and I have to say I'm soooo happy with it! I wish I would have found this product before I ordered Greensmoke. GS is what helped me off of analog cigs so I can't knock it too much, but I sent it back anyway and now I know I've found a quality product. The battery life on these things are insane. The flavors are sooo much better than GS (watermelon is killer!) I'm so happy I made the switch from GS to the VaporKing. If anybody has any thoughts on flavors or anything let me know. I've tried a couple and so far they've been pretty awesome. I've been vaping watermelon and cinnamon roll all day =D what a combo right?

Like many others here I also brought the green smoke as it was the only 2 peice I found at the time, and yes I got suckered in by there smick advertising.
Well in the 6 weeks I have had the product I have already had 3 batteries replaced with another one that needs replacing as it wont hold a charge.

Originally I contacted them to get a refund, they offered me an extra month to try it, so I accepted. I was in the USA at the time and actually spoke to them on the phone.
Today I get a reply to my request to return the kit, that I never replied and basically " too bad , so sad"

I found alot of carts were almost dry and after less than 40 puffs were tasting burnt. Some didnt even make it that far.
The first ones we got a cart actually shorted out our batteries!

They are slow to reply and lately the replies have been disgusting in how they treat customers. As much as I am promoting e-cigs . It wont be theirs.

My partner has been using a kit we got from "theecig (dot) com" I think it is the KR 808D ( someone else might know) and he loves it. The batteries have been awesome none have needed replacing and he loves the carts( especially the vanilla).

He also has the unbranded green smoke batteries and refillable carts.
I am about to try the Vapor King from V4L , and my son is waiting to try any and all I get.

I am glad I found this forum and after 5 days I am still trawling all the posts before deciding on what to get for everyone. I like the 2 part, but want to be able to refill. I hate the waste of throwing carts away...

First off, sorry to resurrect this thread, I wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or not.
I've been reading around here for a bit and like many others on this thread, I too have jumped the gun and ordered a GS starter kit before finding this forum. I am starting to regret purchasing this starter kit.
It has been 1.5 weeks since I received the kit and so far the battery's life is starting to get shorter with every charge. The flavor of the cartridge is not all that great. (I ordered the wrong tobacco flavor.) And my wall charger doesn't even work, only the USB to plug into the computer.

Now I have a decision to make. Should I return the kit for a refund? The problem is, I also ordered 4 more packs of cartridges on top of the started kit and I read that they do not refund that. I can't go through all of it in 30 days (I only vape 2.5 cartridges per week) And I feel like they are going to be .......s about it. I am very interested in the vaporking you guys are talking about here. Is it worth it to go through all the hassle of returning the GS and losing out on the extra cartridges I ordered?

Sorry for the long post, I am new to the ecig scene.
Thanks for your time.

What you can do is buy some batteries that fit the greensmoke kit.
I have currently switched from the greensmoke and returned my kits.
I brought some batteries and more carts before I got and started using the new vapour nine turbo carts with the KR808D-1 batteries.

www.e-cig.com have the kits for under $30 the battery you want is a E9.
you are also able to customise the whole kit with led colour battery colour and what carts you want.
Shipping was fast and service was ok too.

There is also The Electronic Cigarette Company. Harrisburg, PA, USA. 24hr Shipping. eCig Kits, Supplies & Accessories. which is in the USA and I have had great dealings with Donnie there when I was on holidays in the states.
