eciggy has these. And they DO look like the weird shopped battery. There's a ton of print on it. And they say 35amp on them...

I have no way to test this other than to say it lasts a long time. I'm not a crazy sub ohmer that will ever push 30amps. I doubt I'll hit it with 10.

But it does last longer than my Sony VTC4. (18650)

And also takes longer to charge than the Sony. So the capacity should be there.

I own one of the purple Efest 35 amp batteries, though I have yet to use it in any serious sub ohm set up, I have Sony VTC4's that I use for that right now. Anyone here used them for any low ohm set ups?? I feel a tad bit wary simply because they don't seem to have the umphh that I get when using my sonys. You guys know what I mean, when you put a new fully charged sony VTC4 in my mech mod it hits HARD. The 35amp Efest doesn't replicate that at all. It's a bit concerning and until I hear otherwise this battery will only be used for 1 ohm and above builds.

I have had one in my VAMO V5 since 1 PM yesterday and is now showing 3.3 volts at 9:49 PM today. Now I got it for my soon to be delivered Lambo 6 which needs the higher amp batteries to get its full potential. I also have a couple of 30A Sony's coming with the Lambo.

I've never tried a mach. mod or sub ohm attempts.

I know what you mean. I had the same experience with old MNKE and new VTC4s. Checked voltage drop under load for both. With a 0.6 ohm atty on the same mod I got 0.35V drop with he VTC4 and 1.2V drop with the MNKE. Didn't realize I had been using the MNKE since July 2012!

Any chance you could do the same measurements with your VTC4 and the Efest? Coil resistance doesn't matter as long as the same coil and mod is used in both measurements. It's the difference in voltage that matters.

I wish... I don't own anything to test voltage atm, I am looking into a multimeter right now. All I own is my ohm meter, no vv/vw devices either only mechanical mods.

I am getting ready to retire by two old (8+months) EH 18650 200mah batteries simply because they take sooo long to charge and I've since moved on to Sony, AW and Efest batteries all of which work splendidly.

These cells aren't IMR, they're actually ICR cells. They're efest wrapped LG ICR18650HE2's.... Because of that, don't suggest using them in any unprotected (mechanical) mod no matter what their amperage rating is..... ICR is not a stable chemistry.
Can you provide any documentation or links to prove this statement? These Efest batteries are listed as both high drain and IMR (Li-Mn).

I agree with what you say about ICR being not as safe a battery as IMR.

The LG ICR18650HE2 are interesting. I found this on them from Congrevape which has a couple of links to data from LG. The LG technical page lists them as Li[NiMnCo]O2(H-NMC). So, they're hybrids, not ICR like I first thought. Max continuous discharge is stated as 20A there.

However on the Congrevape page it says 35A peak output. I take that to mean burst, maybe . I don't know where they get the 'Tested to 50A without failure' statement. From 4.5.2 in this document they are basically shorting the battery at 0.001 ohms and it does not burn or explode. I like that :)

The rate performance curves are I think phenomenal for mAh at high discharge rates. They also tested at 35A, so the battery obviously can put that out continuous and it didn't seem stressed enough to drive down the mAh. At all! I am not a battery curves junky, so if you are familiar with them please have a look and let me know if my thoughts on this are correct.

I suspect the Efest are not IMR, but also hybrid. Still have not found any data on them anywhere.

Efest does not make batteries. So, all one has to do is search for a battery with those specs. Currently, LG is the only manufacturer that makes a cell with those same specs. But even that is debated as shown by a poster above.

This is why I won't use EFEST. They are not transparent enough for me. Shady.

I think Efest does manufacture batteries, or have them manufactured to their specs. I would like to know if that's false. It sure does seem like this battery is actually a rebranded LG though, but that could be coincidence too.

I got a pair of these even though I don't sub-ohm. I generally run my two Kayfuns in Neme Clone mods with Evolv Kick2's in them to regulate them at around 13 watts. Just got them to have 4 18650's, I have another pair of EFest 18650's, the red 2000mah ones so that I can carry a replacement battery for each mod when I'm out and about even though I don't usually go through both 18650's in one day unless I extend my stay out on the road towards the night like on my Friday after-work beer days.

I compared them to the red EFests with my TankO'Meter without the Kick2 and the red EFests sag about .3v when firing my Kayfun's 1.4ohm coil. The purple 35amp EFests only sag .08v.

The other reason I got them is because I plan on getting a dripping RDA soon just for the occasional cloud blowing and taste testing new juices, haven't done any real world sub-ohming with them yet though but that initial test looks promising.

Metered with both batteries fully charged, in the same mod and the same atty with the same coil?
