I bought a tank kit with the XXL batteries from Cignot and I'm loving it so far. Primer taste? Maybe the first four draws - that's it. Compaired to the poison I was smoking, that's nothing.

I'm a chain vape guy. The XXL battery last me for 24 hours. I prefill 5 tanks a day and go through 4. My last PV of choice was the 601 pipe because of the big cart and the big battery. But the pipe has problems - lots of problems. After using the pipe for almost a year, this Tank thing is like a vacation for me.

Flavor is not an issue - I vape menthol. So far, the tanks have not leaked one drop of juice in the battery or my mouth. I use a needle nose fill bottle and it works great - I don't have to take off the little cap to fill the tanks. I'm getting great vapor clouds, great menthol flavor and TH, I'm getting a solid hit everytime I use it.

I did drop one battery on a wood floor and now it won't light or take a charge. New batteries are about $25. I was going through two 601 atty's a month at $50 each.

Maybe I've got a "next generation" tank or something, but I'm not having any of the complaints that I've been reading here.

Ed.

Ed, I saw on a Youtube, I think GrimmGreen, where the tank system fits on e pipes...well, the one he had, anyway. I've ordered some menthol, I was thinking that would still give TH. Also got some flavor concentrate on order...we shall see! If I can get the taste back up, I'll be way happy.

Codex, I'm looking at the VapeMate as well...hey, that would be a great VapOVersary present to yourself!

I'm still just hoping it will somehow 'get better' but no luck yet. But all I have to do to quit feeling bad is look at the Blu I started with and the disgusting carts...then I like my tank a whole bunch better!

I was actually planning to buy myself a pack of smokes for my one-year celebration (to likely only choke two or three down, but hey) and then I ran across the "reality of cancer" thread and changed my mind. I was a 1 1/2 PAD smoker, only tried vaping for laughs (plus I'm a geek) and ended up switching over instantly. I started with smoking stick, similar to Blu, and for the first six months, I was totally satisfied with it. The switch to 510s and then the eGo have been more frustrating in some ways, but it has been a fun diversion as well.

In the middle of all that, I'd forgotten what a profound difference quitting smoking has made me, and I know that buying a pack wouldn't put me back on analogs, but reading that thread has me thinking that the exact thing that I need to do is get a VapeMape, sample another dozen flavors and see if I can't get myself a mod that won't frustrate me quite as much.

Hell, except for the "sucking air through a straw" feeling and having to fight the urge to flick them, I'm tempted get a couple more super-minis, LOL.

Just switched to 100% VG and it's working much better. There's actually flavour in the vapour!

Guess that will kill the atty much faster, but at least it's enjoyable.
Didn't have any wicking problems with this atty anyway, so I figured I would give it a try.

Probably the higher vapourizing temperature of VG compared to PG is what makes the difference.

Hello Everyone,

I'm hoping that someone can answer a question that I and one of my customers has. Why do these eGo-T atomizers whistle? It seems that with each drag you get a whistling that drives us crazy! Is there a help for this? We've tried loosening and tightening the atomizer on the batteries... but, nothing helps.
Thanks!
Lori

Ya know, mine does that too sometimes. I can't figure it out either. I saw the response about taking out the inserts and I have tried that and it didn't help. If there's an answer I would love to hear it.

Have you tried pulling the inserts out of the mouth piece?

Yes, as a matter of fact I have. I like the hit without the mouth pieces, but it does not change the 'whistle' problem. It's coming from the atomizer. When I take out the tank and puff on the atomizer I still get the whistling. I can hear it's coming from the air slits where the atomizer meets the battery. Tightening and loosening does not stop the whistle. After a couple weeks it's really getting on my nerves! I was careful how I puffed on it, slow and steady, so as not to hear it.... as much, but I have a customer that feels she has been cursed by the thing! So, I guess I'm not the only one having this problem.

I told her I would ask around online, in the forum, to find out if anyone else has this happening, and what to do about it!

Thanks!

Actually, 'ournature', you were right! I didn't unscrew it far enough. I puffed on it while I screwed it on and off. After a couple tries I found that you have to loosen the atomizer enough to stop the whistling. Now, it seems quite a bid, let me tell you!! You would never think the thing was screwed on enough to work! But, alas, it does and it stopped the whistle!
Thank you so much!

Yeah, the old 'cover the air holes with your fingers' thing puts you in an awkward position for vaping! But I did find one thing out... if you loosen the atomizer a little too much.... still getting vapor... but a little too much; the juice in the atomizer, out of the tank, but in the atomizer starts to climb up the side channels of the tank. And you get a MOUTHFULL of back flow! Yuck!

yes, you should look for the right spot drawing directly form the atty hole (without inserting the mouthpiece/tank),
otherwise you will suck too much juice from the tank while tweaking the draw and may have the trouble you're talking about.

Just keep in mind that any combination of atty and battery will have a different right spot.
I do the tweaking everytime i change the battery before inserting the mouthpiece/tank.
Once i found the spot i insert the tank and vape, no mouthfull this way.

Finally took the time to roll through this thread after posting on it 100 pages back or so...wow...some interesting...ummm...adaptation and maintenance...advice...

I'm a bit grateful that I haven't had to try most of it. I did take out the inside insert of the tanks, but only to make it easier to clean them. I'm a month in and still just hot water washing my attys once a week. First two still working like champs. Have yet to have a flood, dry burn, or any backflow into the mouth like I've read. Still using the same 4 tanks as well. Fill them up, pop one on, and out the door I go. I agree the flavors are less intense than dripping, but I'll sacrifice the intense flavor for the convenience. The flavor is still there, just a bit muted.

I don't know...maybe it's that I'm using a clone? I doubt it but maybe? Looking at pics of some Egos it looks like they have threads where the cone goes if you're using a regular atty? My unit only has an o-ring and the cones slip on and are held by that. As a result the tank atty only screws on via the threads for the atty. Don't see how this could be a factor...but maybe...

I'm happy with mine, but apparently some are having REALLY bad luck. If I would have had to fight as hard with my unit as some seem to be, I'd have trashed it.

Good luck folks.
