Where can I gut those xl ce2 r4 cartos please? Are they ego battery compatible? Could you send me a link also with pics of them (I literally only have a few mins internet time between classes today - I teach) as I may be able to buy them at the jantykorea store on saturday (or most likely tonight in a mad dash after work.)

Also are they easy to use? Do you need to mod them or not? How much will one last in terms of full - empty and also lifespan? Sounds like an awesome thing and I want to try it as I remember reading other posts that said good things about these!

Thanks

HW :)

I got mine from gotvapes.com ( FLüXomizer™ 510 BLK/Stainless : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more ) but I am sure others have them as well. I think I heard someone say that cloudsofvapor ( 2.8 ohm ) has them. I just noticed that you aren't in the states so I am not sure where to get them without paying high shipping. Yes they are 510 so they work with the ego....ego is all I use :).

Sorry it took so long my computer locked up on me. They last me anywhere from 4 to 5 hours from full to empty. I am not sure how long they last as in lifespan because I am on my first one still and it is going strong just like when it was new. Some will complain about having to have a syringe to fill them but to me it makes it super easy and the only "modding" I did was pull the little rubber cap up a tiny bit on each side to let the wick have room and that was it. I wish you were in the states I would send you one of mine to try out so you could see if you liked them or not before spending money on them.

I will say that the ce2 have made vaping a total joy for me. For once I can finally fill up a ce2 stick it on my ego and head out the door without worrying about running out while I'm running errands :).

Well here is my story after 2 days...... I received 2 atomizers and 5 carts.

I got good vapor but low flavor and a "burnt" taste on atomizer #1 ( I am sending it back for replacement eventually)

So I decided to try atomizer #2 today. WOW !!! great flavor and vapor. I vaped around 3-4 carts through it and it began to clog up. I also noticed that there was juice on my battery tip and some slight pooling in the bottom of the atomizer.

I gave it a hot H20 rinse and blow/burn. It seemed to be a bit better and then came back again --clogging and flooding into the battery. I even tried a new mouthpiece thinking it may be that I pulled off the nipple on the cart and possibly opened the hole too far or leaking around the seam from pulling the cap on & off.

So for now the other 2 mouthpieces and atomizer are soaking in alcohol to see if it clears them out.

My juice has been :

• 50/50 Organic RY4 from Vaperite
• 50/50 Organic English Toffee mixed with Ecopure Rich (1:1 ratio)

I have some PG juice around here I can try... maybe it is just my juice is too thick???

I did notice that when I tried to fill through the hole with my Toffee/Rich mix that it pooled on the top and would not flow into the hole. When looking at the juice it does seem thick to the eye when pooled on top of the cart.

Sigh....................

I hope the cleaning helps because I really do like it when it is operating correctly.

Wow thanks so much! Hoping they have these at the Jantykorea store tonight. 11.99 for 5 plus the 15 shipping I usually have to pay isn't too bad seeing as here in Korea one regular carto (just 1) costs around 7usd.... Will hopefuly try one out tonight if they have them and then shop around to get deals in bulk if I like them.

They prob wont have the ce 2 xl r4 carts at the janty store as not a janty product. I'm going anyway even if all they have are regular ego cartos or xl ego cartos. Then I'll be able to properly compare them to the tanks as I have a bottle of Janty Oriental and will buy a carto of Janty Oriental and see which tastes better, my new t-atty or the carto. Probaby another 20 or so gone from my wallet. Sigh...

Well I bought an XL ego carto and a tawa normal ego / dura atomizer. Cost me 15 for the atty and 6 for the empty XL carto.

Have dripped the atty and so far am noticing more th with the Oriental than in the tank and about 20% more flavor noticable compared to the ego-t new (non TAWA)atty. Also about 25% more vapor production. Dripping way preferable with this juice. Oriental vg/pg mix with 16mg nicotine.

With the DEKANG menthol 18mg, there really isn't that much difference. I'd say that somehow the tank loses just a tiny bit of flavor compared to the direct dripping and I think it's due to all that plastic and with the air flowing through the plasic cart you get a tiny bit of plastic / airy taste. Dripping gives about 10 - 15% more vapor production and is slightly warmer. So menthol = not much difference at all and tank way more convenient. And to be fair the flavor on this juice in either of them is pretty cruddy. Not a great juice with barely any menthol taste at all.

USA mix from GH1 at 30vg and 70pg only 11mg nicotine. Not much difference. I'd say about 15% more vapor dripping and about 5% more flavor. th absent dripping and tank cart. We can say this juice is probably not that great and I now view it as not worth anything other than perhaps adding some menthol crystals to and making my own menthol, it is THAT WHACK.

GH1 strawb same mix and nic as above. Dripping provided about 20% more vapor. Taste a tad less actually as the vape is warmer when you drip and strawb is such a subtle flavor that the warm vape covers the flavor. SO the toss up here is between bigger clouds or thin clouds with better taste. This juice is pretty meh anyhow so T just wins out here by a nose. Not a great juice at all.

GH1 menthol. As above. 10% more vapor and a tad more taste but simply an awful stale wrigleys tasting juice. Good for the bin only. Simply the worst juice I have and I want it to die a slow painful death for the frustration it has given me! I will think up some creative and ingenious way to kill this b'stard (suggestions welcome!)

So I really only have 1 decent juices. Janty Oriental 16mg pg/vg blend.

Round two with only this juice.

Dripping. Good th about 20% bigger. 15 - 20 % more vapor. Headrush more intense (am getting giddy - ooer missus!)

Ego-t. Harder to draw. less vapor. 10 - 15% less taste. Zero th. Each draw on the ego-t is like the last few draws dripping before it goes dry.

One must bear in mind the dripping was done on a tawa attty using only the blank cart mouth piece in place of drip tip which I don't possess.

Dripping wins here. Th not there with the ego-t. The difference in overal strenght on th, vapor volume and taste will see me for sure setting up a good dripping set up for at home. Lr atty perhaps and drip tip for sure. Hands down dripping way more enjoyable!

Ego-t is now my 'Carry out' only.

I think in future I might need also to

A. Get better juices with higher nic content for more flavor and th as well as vapor production.

B. If that's not enough for me - maybe I just need more than the average vapor and need to go HV.

Next up - Ego XL (or Oversize as it says on the box) cartomizer vs ego- Tanks.

Tried one more juice on both. It is a mix of Oriental, gh1 tobacco and the indides (fluffy filler) of a DEKANG RY4 carto that wouldn't fit my ego so I slung the filler int he bottle, shook her up and left to steep for 2 days.

Dripping. 20% - 30% more vapor, more th and 10% more flavor than tank atty / carts.

Dripping just simply a way easier draw too and easilly noticeable lack of airy plasticy taste which the ego-t give (hadn't noticed b4 as nothing to compare to.)

Man, I might not be sleeping tonight with all this nicotine in my system. XL carto and ego-t comparison gonna have to wait until tomorrow.

And man am I looking forward to the lr dripping experience!

Cheers.

NOTE - I find dripping kills the flavor of menthol for some reason. Anyone agree?

Bizarrely these ego-t things make a good menthol ROCK for me compared with dripping. But ONLY menthol. Weird. I think it's because dripping gives warmer vapor which covers up / spoils the menthol taste, menthol vape should be Cooooooooool.

Well, the atty survived a alcohol bath and rinse/dry burn.

I put it back on and it started leaking again. I was SO frustrated, I finally went ALL day at work without an analog and then this happened. I really like how this works and I see that THIS will be the thing to keep me off of analogs with the flavor/vapor/and ease of use when it's working correctly.

After contemplating a nice stiff cocktail (trying to quit drinking during the week as well) I got ...... and dry burned the hell out of that atty without doing a rinse.

Whadda ya' know..so far today it seems to be working ok.

I did some digging on the Totally Wicked and read threads about people having problems there also.

Hopefully today goes much better and I ordered a couple more atties from Cignot to have as backups/replacements even so I can see if mine were part of a bad batch or something from Totally Wicked.

As I have mentioned, the first atty that I had leaked like crazy. The only thing that ultimately fixed it was "adjusting" the wick inside of the piercing tube. It wasn't installed properly... it was too far down in the tube and biased to one side creating a gap for the liquid to "leak" through. Once I got that "righted", it worked fine.

Can you elaborate a bit more on this..is that JUST wick in there or is there anything else I should be concerned with breaking or moving around if I attempt this.

In addition, did you just use something to "poke" it & move it around or use tweezers to pull it up?

I will take a closer look at my attie and see if this is the issue--thanks for the tip Scottbee. (I do remember you mentioning it somewhere in this thread this is a large thread to sift through)

This sounds like it could be my issue as at one point last night I filled a tank and got 5-6 puffs then dry/burnt taste. I open it up and the tank is EMPTY, leaving me wondering where the hell all of the juice went. I assume down in the atty and all over my battery from the looks of things when I took off the atty from the battery.

Down inside of the piercing tube there is a "bundled wick" made of "burn resistant" material. It is hand-bundled and installed. Obviously there can be some variations in its density and installed position.

I was able to adjust and "fluff" mine via the use of some needle-nosed tweezers that I have. I imagine that other tools could be used (pins, needles, etc..). I did NOT try to pull the wick out and reinstall it.... I just adjusted it "in place".

N.b. Some of you in your email reminder of this thread may see that I heavily edited my dripping vs ego-t post. At first I concluded Ego-t was perhaps better, marginaly due to ease of use.

Reason is I had no clue how to drip and was getting the atty way too hot and not resting or cleaning it enough between juices.

Once I got it figured out I realised that my one and only good juice (the rest are rubbish on either method tank / drip - they are truly godawful) is much better when dripped.

It is 'okay' on the tank set up and serves to stave the smoke craving but there is no comparison with dripping in terms of pure pleasure and given the choice I'd go for the dripping every time it was convenient.

I think for the tank to be good; a very strong juice is needed and perhaps a level higher of nic mg for th. I have noticed a good very strong menthol that is not minty but pure menthol (it smelled almost like vics in the bottle lol) works excellent on the ego-t. But tobacco flavor was best dripped by far says I.

Well having the issues again...I will try Scott's suggestion and see if that works. Regardless I am still sending these back to TW for a replacement/refund as I should not have issues like this 2 days out of the box with both atomizers that I purchased.

Back to the ol' standard 510 carts for now ...... :(

Well, well, well...

This is good. Just got my package from TW. I blew out a pint of primer through the battery end of the atty. Filled the tankomizer with my Truepure without taking the cap off (thank you, Scottbee, darling, great idea!)--just pierced my empty tank by inserting it into the atomizer, took the pierced tank out, filled it up by simply dripping from the bottle, reinstalled, took a couple of dummy puffs without power and finally pressed the button and inhaled. Nice, clean, rich, moist, warm vape.

The whole operation took no longer than 3 minutes--from the mailbox to the the first puff.

And the devil's chin aligns precisely on the button. Life is good.

Hey gang! Just finished reading through all 82 pages of this thread so far. I should probably state that I've been happily vaping for months now on my GGTS/AVS system..but this last week I had a devastating thread failure and it has left me stranded and back to carts and dripping. I normally vape LR/HV 901 with a bit of 510 thrown in when I get bored. I've also been experimenting recently with LR306's which I like a lot for dripping. Since it seems it will be some time before I'll be able to get another 901 AVS, this new Ego-T tank system was very intriguing to say the least. I ordered the atty and a 5-pack of tanks from TW yesterday and then found out a few pages ago in this thread that Cignot had them in stock, so I ordered the full kit from them in stainless w/1000mah upgraded batteries and the black/clear tanks. So I guess this means I'm officially waiting now like many others to try out this new system. Looking forward to getting mine and I'll post my impressions for sure.

Keep us posted Katya..I agree when they are working correctly they are EXCELLENT.

I hope you don't have the issues I and others have had. I am going to try an overnight soak in alcohol and after that see if my wick needs re-aligned as ScottyBee mentioned to get me through the weekend then they are going back to TW for replacement/refund.

Enjoy!! It is a great vape compared to carts---clean/flavorful/thick vapor.
