Ok- I just picked up a few atties and tanks from Cignot. I'll report the physical differences when I get them (thursday).

I've had my first bad experience with these today- my TAWA atty, which was used the hardest, gave me a horrible taste after blowing it out. Just unbelievably nasty. It's in an alcohol bath now. And I'll see how it comes out.

When I say nasty- I mean *naaaaasty*.

I'm basically sold on getting one of the CigNot Ego-T's to replace my 510's. Can someone give me a quick run down on the major differences between the 650 mAH and the 1000 mAH Battery's?

Well- and eGo with the 1000mah battery seems like a bit of a "log" to me. It's not very balanced. The battery life is good. The vape is indistinguishable from the 650. I do own both types. I find myself using the 650s more often just because they are less unwieldy.

They both work as advertised though.

I was thinking about getting one of each just to see the differences. If the vapor is the same and the life on the 650's is 12 hours of moderate use like I've been reading, i may not bother then. Thanks.

12 hours is optimistic at moderate levels. You can always go for a couple of 650s and add 900s or 1000s later if needed.

I have charged my 650's once and they are still going strong 24 hours later. I do use 2 in rotation every day, loaded with my 2 favorite flavors, but I have not recharged them since yesterday at noon. YMMV of course, but I have not had a problem going all day with my 650 maH inferno battery with my clearomizer, and I don't see any difference in performance if I put the tank atty on my 1000 maH inferno battery either. I actually like holding the shorter battery in my hand though.

I just wanted to give an update.

I have been using my eGo-T for a almost 2 weeks now, and my original atty is still going strong. I have also used the same "starter" tank since the first day. I have had no problems with wicking, leaking or nasty tastes.

I have however in the last day converted to an Indulgence. I have 2 of them that I have had for MONTHS, but never really liked them. I discovered however that an Indulgence with a 901 cone and a 901->510 adapter is nearly the exact length of the "cone" area in the atties. This method could also be used for eGo Mega cyl atty or Mega Carto.

I will try to attach a picture so you can see the perfection of it all.

Indulgence -> 18650 version for me. 3000mah puts the eGo mega batteries to shame.

PS The indulgence always seemed to be no better than eGo batteries as far as taste was concerned and the adapter cones never worked right with CE2 cartomizers.

I can't see the picture... but how is the draw in that configuration?

So I've had my tank system from TW for 1 week now. Day 1= 100% sold; Day 7= super stiff draw, still functional with no leaks.

So I boiled it last night in plain ol h20 and let it dry overnight, seems to be alot less stiff, but still stiffer than it was new.

Anyone know if that tube in the middle is supposed to be hollow or not? Should I be able to take a paperclip and put it in there? Mine seems to have something in it and I'm thinking that may be causing the stiff draw but I don't remember if it was hollow or not.

Thanks!

No, no, no! Do not put anything in the center of the piercing needle. Vapor does not go through there and it does not affect the "draw".

The wicking fibers are in the needle and they are what draw the liquid from the tank down to the atomizing coil.

Funny about the picture because I can even see it in your quote. Maybe it has something to do with the way I posted it. It is an eGo-t atty on an indulgence showing how pretty it looks next to a standard eGo-T with a 650 mah battery.

The draw is the same. I tried it with a charging extension, and it didn't work at all, the indulgence adapters are not made to the highest standards. The 901-510 adapter I have has air slots cut into it. (it is not an 808 -> 510 adapter that wouldn;t work either. because the air slots did not line up properly.)

It draws just like the eGO battery.

I haven't liked the Indulgence in the past because it doesn;t seem to put out the "whole" 3.7v supposedly it is the battery spring which is made out of steel that is the problem. The "copper" Hot spring from the Silver Bullet is supposed to fix the problem but I never bothered, I just shelved them.

FWIW this method DOES NOT work on the 905 or SD. their 901 fitting is recessed making the adapter not long enough.

Nice.

I cannot see the pic because of the extra url tag in the original post. I edited it in my quote :)

I am a Janty eGo user and I have been trying to get my wife to switch from v4life to 510 style so we can start sharing. I read through a lot of this thread and decided to go ahead and order the kit from CigNot.

I got the $80 kit and figured that I can continue to use my USB style janty with the "tank". Is that correct?

Also how long are the atty's lasting for you guys? We stopped using atomizers and switched to carts for ease of use but this seemed like a good opportunity to switch back and see if we get a bit more flavor.

Does anyone know how these little tanks compare to the FAT super ego atomizers with cartridges that hold 2.5ml? Or the super ego atomizer with super cartomizer? I ordered some tanks to try them out but have no idea how long it will take for me to receive them. Just wondering if anyone has tried both and what are your thoughts on the differences?

Yes. I use both.

The eGo Mega cylinder atomizers are nice, but have wicking problem.

The eGo Mega cone type atomizers are better. And excel with a fluval mod. I prefer white fluval.

The eGo-T, stock, exceeds their performance even when they are modded.

Speaking only for myself (because I'm replying a lot).

I'm three weeks in. You do need to water wash or alcohol soak the atties once a week. But thus far both of mine are working great.

One just gave me a horrible taste a few hours ago (first time) and it's drying after being cleaned now.

Note: Yes your Janty passthrough battery should work.
