Hiya, Cozzicon. Thank you.

Still happy with your eGo-t? I am.

BTW, Janty will start selling their version of eGo-T next week. From the horse's mouth:

Cool... Janty!

Yea I'm very happy with mine. I'm still using the same 2 Ovale atties from early January, and 2 Cignot atties from early February.

Been trying to stay quiet since repeatedly stating "I love my eGo-T" is kinda useless info for those working out problems.

:)

did you do an ohms test on yours. They are quoted to be 1.7 but both of mine are 2.0 and my regular ones check out at 2.5 so pretty close. I am amazed I love mine

Did you "zero" your meter first? Both readings appear to be a bit high and inconsistent with other users' numbers.

i see... thanks for the tip. what did you use to pull the needle plate with? anyway, can the tip of the tank where our mouth is be removed?
I used needle nose pliers to pull the plate and then put it on an empty tank to re-insert.

The tip of the tank where the mouth piece is, put a paper clip in the little hole you can remove the insert plate. Now do the same for the next little plate with a hole. you should now have a big oval hole and be able to see the top of the liquid tank and down the air channels.

1) i'm using 24mg ry4 liquid and is not getting much of a throat hit. how do i have more throat hit? anyway, my atty is new..
Try pulling the mouth piece inserts, it seems to increase TH and flavor. I also get a better TH by holding the button for a second or two before I start to draw and by drawing slower. Does your liquid have any VG in it? I notice that weaker juice with 20 - 30 % VG content has more TH than a stronger NIC all PG juice.

Too early for a full review (5 tanks through it), but so far I'm really liking the LR version....

same here, almost a week using my LR and i'm pretty much liking it.
I already made a soft-dryburn cleaning after day 4 to restore the taste though, but i'm an heavy vaper and switch flavours a lot, always did that every 25-30ml with any atty i had in the past.

I'm quite confident it's accurate, but if you have a specific test you would like me perform, I would be glad to do so.

I would just short the leads and make sure you get a true "zero" Ω before testing the atty, that's all. Some of the Fluke meters actually have a "zero out the lead resistance" procedure.... it varies by model number.

What kind of meter are you using, and did you test the atomizer after a cleaning/drying, or did you use it prior to testing it?

My meters are almost exclusively Fluke. Here in my office I have a 789-NIST, a 287-NIST, and 87-V-NIST, and a trusty 79. I tested my LR tank atties straight out of the package after blowing out the primer. I got 1.8Ω on the two that I received today.

You were right.

I'm using an 87-III, and it's way off now.

I'm reading 1.7, on the LR, with compensation.

Just the other day it was spot on, so I either tweaked a lead, which is quite possible, or something went buggy.

I'm going to order a new set of leads, and if that doesn't sort it, I'll send it in for re-calibration.

Thanks for the help! I will edit my previous post to reflect the failure of my testing.

For the record i tested mine unused out of package. No matter what they do read I am very satisfied with their results

I agree.

They're a significant improvement in taste over the original version.

It almost makes me wonder why they released the non-LR version at all, considering it's specifically geared for a fat battery 3.7v device, and they must have known the taste was very weak in the original form.

Either way, this is as close to dripping on a 510 lr, without actually dripping, and I'm happy with it too.

I picked up a 510-510 extender, from cisco, mgmrick, and will let you know how that fits on the leo > 510 adapter > extender > tank. It looks like it could be a good method for tank mounting, without need to grind down the ego-t atty. Granted yours came out really flush, so I'll have to take a picture to see how much of a gap this makes. It probably won't be as clean of a look.

yes i needed a shorter 510 to 510 adapter. I firgure 5/8 in long would work mine was too long so i grinded down the leo collar a little. I did put a leo atty on battery after i grinded the battery collar down you really cant tell. So if or when leo does come out with a tank system I could still use my leo batteries. Where I bought my leo to 510 adapter they did say they would soon have an adpapter that would work with ego-t atty but I could not wait...

Don't say that. I am having a VV mod custom made with a native eGo connection to put my tank attys on......

I don't know how many times I've read that now. It seems that loads of people have experienced muted flavors with their tanks. - I have not. Some of my flavors taste a lot different then they do in my other PVs, but I haven't noticed a *lack* of flavor. - Every PV I own makes my flavors taste different than with any other PV I own, so I didn't think much about it.

My sweet flavors (like caramel, root beer, licorice etc) actually seem more flavorful from my tank. The tobacco flavors taste a lot different than I've become used to from my other PVs, but I've been blaming the fact that the vapor is cooler.

That leads me to a question: The LRs should produce warmer vapor, but is it warm enough to overcome the mouthpiece design and actually deliver warmer vapor?

I have to say my lr does produce more flavor, more vape warmer vape, more th and easier draw. I do agree that different attys same juice do produce different results... The 5 or 6 setups I have tried the best (for me) has been the leo but the leo has too many wicking problems
