did you do an ohms test on yours. They are quoted to be 1.7 but both of mine are 2.0 and my regular ones check out at 2.5 so pretty close. I am amazed I love mine

Hiya, Cozzicon. Thank you.
Still happy with your eGo-t? I am.
BTW, Janty will start selling their version of eGo-T next week. From the horse's mouth:

Did you "zero" your meter first? Both readings appear to be a bit high and inconsistent with other users' numbers.
I used needle nose pliers to pull the plate and then put it on an empty tank to re-insert.i see... thanks for the tip. what did you use to pull the needle plate with? anyway, can the tip of the tank where our mouth is be removed?
Try pulling the mouth piece inserts, it seems to increase TH and flavor. I also get a better TH by holding the button for a second or two before I start to draw and by drawing slower. Does your liquid have any VG in it? I notice that weaker juice with 20 - 30 % VG content has more TH than a stronger NIC all PG juice.1) i'm using 24mg ry4 liquid and is not getting much of a throat hit. how do i have more throat hit? anyway, my atty is new..
Too early for a full review (5 tanks through it), but so far I'm really liking the LR version....
yes i tried that but it only goes down to 1...so that might be the problem and it is a cheap digital from harbor freight
I'm using a $300+ Fluke, and concur with your measurements, mgmrick.
I read 2.0-2.1 on the tornado-t LR "1.7" atty's.
Please don't be offended... but did you "zero" your Fluke. Mine (I have multiples) are usually .1-.2 off.
I'm quite confident it's accurate, but if you have a specific test you would like me perform, I would be glad to do so.
What kind of meter are you using, and did you test the atomizer after a cleaning/drying, or did you use it prior to testing it?
I would just short the leads and make sure you get a true "zero" Ω before testing the atty, that's all. Some of the Fluke meters actually have a "zero out the lead resistance" procedure.... it varies by model number.
My meters are almost exclusively Fluke. Here in my office I have a 789-NIST, a 287-NIST, and 87-V-NIST, and a trusty 79. I tested my LR tank atties straight out of the package after blowing out the primer. I got 1.8Ω on the two that I received today.
For the record i tested mine unused out of package. No matter what they do read I am very satisfied with their results
I agree.
They're a significant improvement in taste over the original version.
It almost makes me wonder why they released the non-LR version at all, considering it's specifically geared for a fat battery 3.7v device, and they must have known the taste was very weak in the original form.
Either way, this is as close to dripping on a 510 lr, without actually dripping, and I'm happy with it too.
I picked up a 510-510 extender, from cisco, mgmrick, and will let you know how that fits on the leo > 510 adapter > extender > tank. It looks like it could be a good method for tank mounting, without need to grind down the ego-t atty. Granted yours came out really flush, so I'll have to take a picture to see how much of a gap this makes. It probably won't be as clean of a look.

Don't say that. I am having a VV mod custom made with a native eGo connection to put my tank attys on......
I don't know how many times I've read that now. It seems that loads of people have experienced muted flavors with their tanks. - I have not. Some of my flavors taste a lot different then they do in my other PVs, but I haven't noticed a *lack* of flavor. - Every PV I own makes my flavors taste different than with any other PV I own, so I didn't think much about it.
My sweet flavors (like caramel, root beer, licorice etc) actually seem more flavorful from my tank. The tobacco flavors taste a lot different than I've become used to from my other PVs, but I've been blaming the fact that the vapor is cooler.
That leads me to a question: The LRs should produce warmer vapor, but is it warm enough to overcome the mouthpiece design and actually deliver warmer vapor?
