Personally I'm not a fan of dual coils at lower voltages and especially a 3.3-3.4V eGo. Their alittle better on 3.7V PVs, but are still just okay. I find dual coils only really shine when used in the 4-5V range. I would also get some Boge 2.0ohm cartos and try those. They work great on the eGo. A good single coil can work just as well and won't drain your battery like a DC does.
As far as using 1.5ohm cartos on an eGo, I wouldnt do it, but that's up to you. The eGo is a mosfet driven PV and using 1.5ohm-1.7ohm cartos puts a lot of stress on the eGo mosfet and can fry it. Personally I wouldn't use anything below 2.0ohm on an eGo, but again that's up to you

Agree that Boge cartos are good on the Ego. I use lower than 2.0 ohm only and have yet to fry an Ego battery in over a year of daily vaping (not saying it can't happen, but that it hasn't to me). Thought I read that Dual Coil cartos were a risk to Ego batteries. Some sites selling these warn against using DCs on Ego batteries.

And when using a carto, a drip tip can be a small but important addition. When the carto is getting dry, just add some juice through this, rather than having to remove the small white cap every time.

It works even better is you take off the drip tip and drip directly down the sides of the carto. You won't get nasty tasting juice in the dirp tip.

I do that too sometimes, but usually just watch it trickle down through the drip tip. Haven't noticed any nasty taste so far. I like clear drip tips so I can make sure there's no blockage and that it all drops down through.

Thank god for this thread. Someone recommended Boge 2.0's for me last week when I introduced myself and I was baffled about it, what the *bleep* are those and why should I care? This thread cleared alot of things for me, so thank you!

You and I both. :) I was talking to the team at the local vapor store today and they had said that a DC LR hasn't been known to hurt the eGo's that run at 650mha... *shrug* either way, it's what I am using for now and I'll keep my fingers crossed. If I blow it than I'll let you know so you can say 'I told you so'. :) it'll have to do until I replace the cartos and I'll goto 2.0 next time around. I do understand however that it'll wear on the battery life.
