New ETA Update?

Just because I think any recent posts about this may be lost in a sea of posts in other threads....


What is the newest update on when we can expect our orders to begin shipping?

Next Monday, 8/21. Was the 19th, heading to pick them up this Saturday. The Machinist was actually in the hospital for about two days, I'm sure Chad can elaborate a bit more on that topic. All I know is Steve is okay and the swelling in his face has gone down, didn't think it would actually effect the shipping date so was waiting until I knew for sure that it was.

He already is, but I have yet to hear what the offical Diagnose was. So didn't want to come in and say 'Ya, his face swelled up like a balloon'. I stopped by to visit the Chad last night, and he said his face has gone back to normal. So everything is getting back on track. Picking them up Saturday (SBs) getting them ready to ship on Sunday, and sending them out Monday. =P

That's really good to hear. I'm assuming the injury did NOT occur while making the SB's? I hope not!

Ha, I watched Dirty Rotten Scoundrels last weekend with my dad. I thought the movie was 'Okay' but enjoyed Pulp Fiction better (by a lot). Which my dad responded with 'And here I thought Pulp Fiction was Tarantino's worst film. My jaw hit the floor, and of course I asked him if he ever saw it =P

Seems like this question gets lost among posts- are CR123a 3.0v 1000mHa batteries ok to use in the Silver bullet? or do they have to be RCR123a bats? I am pretty ignorant when it comes to electrical shiz- maybe theres not a difference in the two I don't know- I HOPE the CR will work- I can get the particular batteries above for alot less than the RCR 900mHa

Will the work ok?

Will the work ok?

As long as they are 3v and are 34.5mm long or less then yes they will work. The CR2's will be too short. I think the RCR123A are 3.7v?

perfect, exactly what I needed to know- I have been searching ebay and can get 4 batteries and a charger for around $10-11. Are name brand batteries and the cheapies on ebay different?- or is a battery a battery and no point of getting the more expensive ones? trying to figure out if its worth paying double off batteries or get the cheapest possible? the ones on ebay are rated at like 500 charges or something

thanks- I though I was going to have to pay around 30 bucks for batteries and a charger- when I can get ones that work for 10 for both.

Forgive me for my ignorance- whats the difference between protected and non-protected batteries? Obviously I should only be using protected with the Silver Bullet?
