Hey David,
I recently dropped my Precise Simplicity 18490. Now the Button doesnt slide in and out smoothly, it even gets stuck on and ihave ti pull it out. I came to the conclusion that it is the locking ring that is not a perfect circle anymore. I sent you an email asking if you had replacements? Just checking if you got that email. Thanks.

Man, this thread made me order a PS 18350 for my incoming Sophia! Only thing is I was planning on using it on a Zen2 18350 w 510 adaptor so I ordered a 22mm IBTanked. Geez. Now I'm gonna have to order a 19mm IBTanked. It sure is difficult to remain pleased with all these groovy gizmos available. It is the overall size/weight, talk of outstanding machined threads, ribbed/textured tube, switch quality/tweak ability, locking ring, ect. $120 is spendy for half a flashlight, even if it is made in the USA, but the design really speaks to me! Looking forward to it!

Honestly, in this day and age when mechanical mods are all the rage, $120 is cheap. And for that $120 you'll get a nicer PV, with a lifetime warranty, over just about anything else out there.

IMHO - you're spot on with that statement. I'll be new to mechs but have read and heard all about 'em for the last couple years. I wanted to pull the trigger last fall - but Super-T wasn't stocked w/ Simplicities or P+'s. I just wanted a Super-T for my 1st mech. Waiting on delivery of an 18500 Simplicity. Already looking forward to the re-appearance of the P+ in the spring. That will be mech #2 for me. Over 2 years using quality VV / VW devices looking forward to a change of pace.

Of course I realize that $120 is not a heafty price tag when talking about most of the in-house made mechanical battery tubes. It's definitely not a high price tag compared to a few of my other hobbies either. I can see that it is a well made product and I would not have bought one if I did not think it was worth the asking price. It is a piece of functional art and a cool gadget as well. As of this post I've only been vaping for 18 days not counting trying a few cig-a-likes but I'd say over this time I've been studying them for probably 20-30 hours. I was interested in these before I saw the price. I don't think I've seen a single negative review. When I saw the price and "in stock" I had to jump on it! That said, this maker is obviously talented AND smart because it seems clear that priority 1 is making an excellent product & priorities 2 & 3 are neck in neck being competitive pricing and growing availability. I salute him for his principals and I am sure I will dig the Super-T Precision Simplicity! I'm definitely enjoying this forum!

I ordered a 18500 on 1/27, one week down hopefully one to go. Now if someone could make a 20mm Kayfun Lite like atomizer I'd be set, maybe Dave!:vapor:

I've been asking for a 20mm Kayfun style atty for months... I haven't seen anything of quality yet, but the Strata looks awfully promising!

I've been debating on picking up a simplicity for a while now but the only thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was it's limited 20mm diameter. But every time I look at the pictures with the strata on it I finally decided to do it. That combo just looks too sick. I just hope the strata performs as good as it looks.

My question is when I placed the order for the strata I choose the ribbed finish. Is this the same finish that is on the simplicity? I want the finishes to match?

Thanks, I actually just saw some pictures of it on the strata thread. The polished looks pretty nice with it too! Man why did I look. Haha
