Same as your Zenesis, k-bro.
Just tweak them around until the "a-hah" moment.
Thanks, neighbor! I'm sure the DID won't last 24hrs. I'll be OK if the mod doesn't sell. I'll probably use parts of it to make something else lol.Well, dougie wish you could have gotten it months ago and I would have just driven down and bought the DID from you.I think you are giving up too early but,hey it's your mod and there's cash to be made.I took off the first coil and wick I made like an idiot and had a terrible time getting it back right but,it's all a learning process for me.I can do it now without any fears but, that's after 2 wicks and 5 coils
. Perseverance and patience are the key in the "genesis type" for myself.Sorry to write a book but, good luck man!

Not a bad idea, but if you get a hot spot near it, wouldn't it exceed that temp? Not to mention, I'd be sorta leery about any possible gases released by the silicone if it got too hot.
Don't laugh! I've never has to wrap the Zen yet. I fiddle and fiddle and after 20 tries and popped coils the last few days, the only good one was the one I had to take off to put on the new tank.Same as your Zenesis, k-bro.

I dropped and lost one of the brass nuts today, lol my 1st day with the DID. Any suggestions for a quick fix? Will any nut that fits do? Or should it be brass as well?
It is funny though. I got my learning on iatty's and ody's. You can do a Zen with your eyes closed.
I had a learning curve with the Penelope's. Painful. Very little skin left on my fingers.
I'm HOPING that by using all the methods mentioned in this post these won't be as bad to start off with. Oxidize like mad and then use the cigarette paper. Check clearances and cross fingers. I'm really going to put a lot of time into the first wick so I don't have to deal with shorts(hopefully).
Rick,,, what it seems to do for some reason is intensify the flavor for some reason, just try it, I just happened to put the smaller wick into the bigger one, all I can say is my flavor doubled. the inside wick has a very small hole and the two wicks just seem to work super for me, just passing on something I found buddy.
Wonder if this is something Jim would be able to get in Greece? Do you know if the heat needed for the powdercoat would be below the brass melting point?
I tried it in my GTUS a couple weeks ago b/c I made my first wick too thin and didn't notice any difference. But with the thicker wick in the DID, maybe it'll be different.Rick, its good old capillary action my man, the juice is coming up in two spots, between the two wick and threw the center of the small hole of the inside wick,,,,, I've been experimenting with something else as well that may even be better yet but not ready to disclose yet, just try the MWA Dual Gene Wick please, I think you will like this a LOT![]()
Yes, I believe it is. I have a friend (going to west point this year actually) who bought himself a kiln and the ceramic solution and started powdercoating every piece of metal in sight xD
Maybe you should buy a spare set of nuts, and send them to him with some instructions. Might be on to something here.?
