yeah I have noticed some juices that taste fine in cartos and reg atomizers don't taste very good in the DID. Like my malibu rum starts tasting soapy after a while. Ry4 tastes less like vanilla/carmel and more like tobacco which I don't like.
Speaking of Rum...
I was going to purchase some more outstanding (to me) fruity juices from PSV, but madvapes newsletter has their Top Vapor at 25% off... I haven't tried their juices yet, does anyone know if they're worth the savings? (not much of a savings if they're not vapable in a genesis) Top Banana, Butter Rum, Hazelnut Caramel Machiatto, Irish Mintz, Cappuchino are the flavors I picked out. I usually do the 6-10ml sample sizes, but thought I'd go for the larger bottles in case I really like them. (dumb, I know, but, but, but... what a savings!)...

I have a ProVari mini V2, and I can't get my DID to work on it.
What is everyone doing to get it running on the ProVari?
On ProVari, start with the lowest voltage. Best way is to start with a mechanical device to break in. Measure your ohms with a multi meter. A ProVari will not fire it if the ohms are oh, I dunno, 1.0 - 1.3. It needs to see 1.5 - 1.6 ohms to work, and that is at a very low voltage.

Or even toss in an extra coil or two to jack up the ohms above 1.5 If you get to 1.8 and it fires the. The technique is correct and test vaping can occur. Then adjust with the next coil. There will likely be lots of coiling at the beginning anyway. :)

No flavor in the 555?? I've never yet had a bad 555.
Off to PSV then. :)
My wife has been vaping their TopVape and dekang virginia for two years. It's the only juice she will vape. LOL, I have no rhyme or reason why though.
Edit: It's really not that bad. for a tobacco juice:)

The did is sensitive to vv mods, its do to the positive post possibly licking the center tube or the mesh licking the inside of the tank. just wrap a tiny piece of ciggarette paper, tops or bamboo whichever and it will fix your error problem for you. The did seems to work better on mechanical mods.... you can also use silica as a U wick, that works nicely and taste great too!

That's good to hear and take note of.
As long as it's not "awful", I can deal with it, I think. I have a few flavorings in the tackle box...
But I think I'd best do the typical wise thing and try their samples first before ordering larger sales batches.
Thanks for the input!

Yes, samples always when it comes to juice as every pallet is different.

The VIR is a magic do-hickey from Imeo that will work on the GGTS. I know squat about it other than he is awaiting a Patent on it before releasing it. I will be buying a GGTS just to be able to use it when it comes out!
The GG was the first mod I ever fell in love with 3 years ago and I still don't own one. Whatsupwiththat?
I may be joining you at the GGTS booth...

One way is to wrap mesh around the silica. I DID try it, but that was during MY two week cursing period so maybe I'll revisit some day.
aha! I remember those experiments now. That was a fun few weeks. Twisted coils, silica, cheesecloth, cotton talk, ... I'll wait right here waiting for you to revisit. :)

Fun? That was an idea I tried to get through my struggles. Two weeks of struggling when I first got mine had me trying anything short of aluminum foil.....oxidized of course. :)
I'll try it again some day. I can't promise when. I'll need a little time to try it again. Someone here is very successful at it but for the life of me I can't remember who.

it wont fire or it fires, but error?

Was this for me? LOL

It's odd, my V1 standard will fire more genny type attys, even if they read LO, than the V2 mini.
I have a couple I have to use a mechanical mod to work out any shorts on, and even then, sometime the standard will fire
(with or without errors) and the mini won't fire it. I'll check the AO and it will tell me open.

I think my mini is wacky somewhere inside.

Edited to add:
I think I've read where some have their ohms at like 1.8 and are vaping it at around 4.7.
Doesn't this taste burnt?

Is it the dreaded E errors? Check the coil snugness (not tight not loose), make extra sure that wire is not touching any of those nuts. Make sure that the wire from the ground screw lays FLAT until it meets the wick. When wrapping the wire between the nuts, use the raised knurl sides together. Make sure they are not flying apart. Check that wick isn't leaning or too tall and touching cap. Make sure wick isn't touching any part of the inside (bottom or center post).

If you have a clear kir tank, now may be a good time to use it until you get all points covered.

Oh and oxidize that wick...oxidize, oxidize, oxidize. And then oxidize. This can't be overdone. Especially while in the learning stages. Later you can play a little more but now no shortcuts.

Provide us more info. Many WANT to help. But honestly you are a little general with your problems. We need as much info as you can tell us.

This seems like a lot, but soon it will be old hat and you'll be recoiling in under 5 minutes. Ask me how I know. :D

Thanks for all this!
I'm no stranger to genny type attys or hybrids. I have traded off most of my collection for them. LOL

Like my last post, I seriously think it's just my mini ProVari.

This is what I usually do.
I'm down to one mechanical mod I can use for it. LOL
My standard ProVari usually "reacts" better with genesis, but the hubby has claimed it.

Won't wrap his own darn coils though.
