Mine was purchased on 27/07, shipped on 20/08 and still has not arrived. Tracking shows as just left post office.

Could be anywhere. Seems some are lucky getting theirs quick and some are unlucky.

Well first of all I wanted to thank all of you for jumping in so quick. And also feeling my pain. I've been using a genisis The Did for 3-4 months now. As we all know once you use one nothing even comes close!

You have seen my silly photos. I put the blue tank on a couple of weeks ago because I was having trouble filling it, so I wanted to see what was going on. Now that I know it was the thick wick and I can will it through it. I decided this morning to put the SS tank back on.

Since I am a ....., ......, stupid Ginny, I forgot to remove the top nut. So I just twisted the did until I heard the pop. My heart dropped. No screws to be found as we all know.

Well this is what I was able to do. So far very happy. Parts will go on order today! Or when Jim opens up again.

Got 14 gauge copper solid wire. Cut shaped

Thanks again

I forgot I did have to wrap the post with tape. So it would shout inside the channel. The screws are straight and way more rigid to it stays centered

Not a safe combo?? I have wondered why you don't see copper used much in Genesis Attys.

I remember someone on youtube making a genesis style atty for mass production and was going to use copper. He had a lot of replies not to do it. It may have been copper wire in the tank in direct contact with the eliquid. I can't remember exactly which is why I posted be careful.

No worries I get it. But the did is different the way it is set up. Either way it's just a temp fix. Better then a stinky.

You wouldn't think it make much of a difference. But with the brass I was running a 2/3 or at 3/4 coil. With the Copper 2/3 burned up and the 4/5 was way harsh. Running a 5/6. Just to keep is were I like it. vaping like a train.
