For a temp fix, put piece of scotch tape over air hole, pierce with a thin needle. Should reduce ir intake.

Thank you!

Make sure wick not touching bottom of tank.

My wick is touching bottom of tank and I have no problem.

It takes a little getting used to, bigger hole requires a slower draw. I now have just the opposite problem. I've gotten so used to 1/16th I get annoyed by anything that takes more effort to vape.

I will give it another chance a few days if I do not get used to it I'll buy another atomizer ( I want the Stainless Steel set and a spare DID)

This is not my week. Now my Omega broke. There is a local store by me the has the ego t 18650 mod. I am going to get it a 5. Has anyone used the Did on one?

Tony

I have a twist. But haven't. Let me try that. What the hell. Stand by

Edit: on the twist it looks silly and needs more power than normal. Can't imagine the 18650 would be "passable" until you have a perm replacement.

I have used an the DID on a ego twist to test it. It looks funny, but works. Just be careful with the resistance of the coil. I have heard those ego 18650 mods have a weak switch, so try not to run to many amps through it.

Edit: I hope it's the upgrade switch so you can run it unregulated, if not then you may only get 3.3v out of it. I hope this helps.

BTW, the Omega is an all mechanical pv, how did you break it? Maybe we can think of a quick fix for you.

I think it was taken differently. After re-reading it can be taken to ways. In short, you can't have too much space meant make sure there isn't a lot of space. Which by default means "hanging wire".

Ok. I'll reword. Close, but just far enough away to not tough. You had it better by just saying 1mm

I just wanted to clarify MY thought behind it. You can't really have a lot of space anywhere in there. Sometimes you swear it touching when it's not.

Lol, my bad. I should've read more carefully.

I hear that plus with the all copper center post the resistance is so low. I've had to used a 5/6 just to keep the th down. Xmas can't come soon enough. I may need to wrap more.

I'm using a 5/4 wrap on my Twist at 3.7 and lower even. I don't know if it's safe or not. User beware!
Here's a pic. I have a Boot on it, to close the gap. (bought a long time ago with my LT and it finally came in handy!)

severe frustration has set in. i unwrapped my coil i built last night and re wrapped it and now its just plain terrible. i just cant seem to get it right and i know the fault is mine. at first the hot spot was on top so much that it started fire them e1 and e2 errors over and over. i must get this figured out

Pics always help. How many coils are you using(I forgot), and what gauge kanthal are you using? You used a torch to oxidize it right? Make sure your bottom coil isn't touching the bottom nut and your top coil not touching the top nut on the center post. Your wick isn't touching the bottom of the tank, as this sometimes can cause a short. Your wick is nice and black due to oxidization and a build up of burned pg or vg.

Did you contact altsmoke to see if you can get a replacement spring?

I sure will. I just ordered batteries and the helped me with the top insulator. They sell the bottom hot spring. But I will née to call about the top one. It just my only pv so if I don't get something tonight. I will be going on a 4 day trip in trouble. I'm getting a provari for Xmas so I just need something cheap and quick. And local!

I hear you. From what I hear they have good customer service. I would call them and see if they could overnight a top spring. I'm sure they could get one to you, may not overnight though.

Watch Jim's video. You can start at 15min mark to watch how he does his coils. I do mine the same way. Right now I'm using a 5/6 coil at 2.4ohm. It helped me not to build the coil while it was in the wick hole.
