When you put the screw back in the fill hole, are you threading it to tight, or just shy of?
Try opening the wick back up, and putting the screw back into the fill hole, but not tight.
If that doesn't work, you can also try keeping it closed a bit, and rolling a small amount of mesh to put in the fill hole which will seal it, but not as completely as the screw does.
Of course, you may also be able to solve this by changing the angle you're holding it at, but I'm assuming you've already tried that..

i did see some boiling a few times.. so im flooding.. how can i reduce that.. i tried putting the fill hole nut back on but i got dry hit after 2 hits.. the wick top is already pinched..
