what mod is that with the mini did on it in the first pic and next to it in the second

The mod in the first and second pics look to be either a GP Paps or a Gus Mod.

I'm interested in the bottom photo. 14500 with mini DID ? = Awesome.

The bottom pic is actually a stainless steel Ego battery 1100 Mah from the looks of it. I cannot see the bottom cap clearly or I could tell you whether it was a standard ego, ego twist or Vision Spinner LOL

ETA: This is my Mini DID on my Sturm Mod. Great Combination!!

OMG!! The post with the pics you're asking about was Jim's Birthday day!! Happy Birthday a little bit late ,Jim!!!! Haha, that was the day I came barging onto the scene, in a big hurry to get my order in, and made my first post... "how dahelldo I order this thang?".. or something similar to that. My apologies to Jim for being so rude! I had no idea lol.
In thosse pics he was showing off his new Mini DiD that he was still perfecting. I don't know what the mods were. Probably Paps.

Jim, have I mentioned today how much I love my DID? Seriously, I like my mini a lot too (most days anyway :D), but I love my regular DID. It is the easiest to get vaping like a freight train, the most forgiving when it starts to run dry, and the flavor is outstanding.

I DID drill out the airhole though, shhhhhh, don't tell on me. :vapor:

Don't worry I DID too. I don't think Jim will mind if we tweak to our own personal preferences. Isn't that why we have left cartos behind?

Hi Timmy, some background info on your coil and mesh setup would help a lot in determining how best to advise you.
Post some pictures of your coil next time before you fire the GG.

But for a start: do you have a lower powered battery mod, possibly like a lavatube V1, which has a 3v setting and a limit of 2.5Amp?, this might give you a little longer than a micro second to diagnose your problem, and allow some for adjustment of your coils before it's all over and you have to re-coil.

My new coil for my DID on around 180mm of #500 mesh, 6wrap 28Awg nichrome coil, with adjustable tank breather screw really shining with a wick that is a really snug fit in the wickhole, Grrrreat flavor, and vapor, runs great on my mechanical Paps from 4.2v right down to 2.9v, just take longer hits as the voltage drops, truly sweet.
I keep trying the 30awg Kanthal, but keep coming back to this 28awg nichrome for great stability and awesome flavor from multiple coils at low ohms on my mechanical mods. I have 28awg Kanthal on the way (higher Ohms/meter than the nichrome), but i can't see how it can get much better than this. :headbang:

Yea i do have some ego, tried it and it snap again LOL, this is really weird. I tried to think back what happened, i only came up to mesh not being oxidized well.

i recoiled, but re-oxidized the mesh again, this time i torch it real good, and it work fine now, im guessing the mesh wasnt oxidized properly in the first place, was that the reason it lead to my wire being snap like a feather?

180mm....-WOW that is some tough fingers you have there. I roll 110 to 120mm because I like to leave a small gap around the wick so the tank can breathe.

If your mesh isn't oxidized properly at the point where the coil meets that mesh then all of your power from whatever battery you are using will try and pass through about 1.5mm of wire rather than the 30-60mm of wire used in your whole coil, and pop!

OK
we need a 20mm diameter battery holder to fit exactly to DID.
side button. Most people as I saw from mails and here!
But I do not like them because they hook everywhere!
a button that we can easy put it up or down on the tube!
and a new spare for DID, bottom connector to screw perfectly on the POLDIAC!
Are you happy with this? lol
I hope so because it will be soon (some weeks) in my website!

I have read and reread this post all day today, and call me slow, but are we talking about a switch with a retractable button, or a slidey upy downy ring type affair.
I'm thinking the retractable/saftey locking button is the answer, in which case I truly am Excited
and JIM, When can we pre order, and how many of my wives do I need to sell? LOL.

:). The reason I don't like the bottom button is because with a genisis you have to keep it standing. The bottom needs to be locked all the time and it is not as stable as a flush bottom. Only need to lock a side button when in a pocket. And that's if it is a big ugly one. Sure jims will be small and flush. But it sounds like he is being innovative again. Sweet.
