I believe I requested this a couple weeks ago. I received a lot of interest in mine.... This must be done. Make a plug for the 2nd wick hole then it doesnt have to be a special run. They can just be that way
NatGasMan, what exactly did you clean? The two small screws, the two large screws, the spring and the pin?
Ideally, you should be cleaning EVERY contact, including the 2 sets of screws, the spring, and the small rod inside the button housing.
I just unscrew the 2 screws that are used for adjustments. I then unscrew the contacts being sure to hold the button to keep it from flying off. I then pop out the silver rod in the button and clean it and the 2 little screws and the contacts too.

I'm just using a veryyy conservative amount of sharkhide on a microfiber cloth for the flat surfaces and male threads and q-tips with sharkhide in the female threads, just as I would with brass contacts. I saw the aluminum foil+baking soda trick online last week and I've been meaning to give it a try, and I'm also contemplating giving the contacts a bath in silver jewelery cleaning solution.
I found the dry baking soda to do a great job. Afterwards I rinsed off the powder and then a quick PGA dip to make them dry off immediately.

Chi-You is a keeper. I was planning to set my Hellfire Mega on the Poldiac but has a gap on the top cap, So Mega will set with Chi-You By the way RW, VR are taking phone orders as they'll be having them in a week or so
The center pin is adjustable on the Poldiac, that may resolve the gap.
Turn right to loosen, left to tighten....opposite of what you might think.
Am I to understand Jim correctly, I will have to buy a PolDID in February and a HyDID in March?
