Well, I've been waiting for the "Tony drop" test results but it hasn't seemed to happen yet so I took it upon myself to start the testing. It was raining as I got home last night so I jumped out of the truck to run inside when my DID/Poldiac flew out of my hand and skidded across the driveway. I picked it up and cradled it carefully as I ran inside, apologizing to it the whole way. I dried her off and pushed the button... and she forgave me and worked like nothing had happened. There is a couple of dings now (Tony, I have to admit here that I almost cried, I know that's not very manly) that I think will buff out pretty easily on the top cap and bottom cap and a few on the brushed shirt and pants that I will just live with (battle scars) but happy to report she is still beautiful and working like a champ. I think she cracked my driveway though.

There is nothing wrong or un-masculine about shedding a few tears over possible deep gouges that cant be buffed out. Never mind the accidental disrespect our prized possessions feel upon impact.
I believe there may be a group session for such trauma. :)

Were here for you brother.

Wow, gone for a couple days and I'm overwhelmed with all the cool stuff happening... Trying to catchup but it's a too much reading. Couple things:

Ribbon wire: ++++1 = 10 I love it (0.6x0.1). For folks having a tough time wrapping, I wrap the wick before installing (kind of roll the coil between my thumb and forefinger while pulling on the tails to get it nice a even). When I install the wick I keep holding the coil (using an MMV setup base) and flatten the neg tail with a jeweler's screw driver against the base and then tighten the neg screw. Then give the pos tail a 1/4 turn and tighten down the pos nut. 2/3 on big wicks and 3/4 on mini/gem.

@B2L: I feel your pain. I have a couple nicks and scratches at this point but realize since my Poldiac is my all day/every day PV now, "S" happens. When Jim said made for life - I believe it so I try to be careful but know it's the vape I'm after (I'l get another really pretty Poldiac one day for home use only ;))

@Tony: Love to see your Frankenstein mods (and they are truly mods...). See, now that's why my bike has a full HD "Batwing" fairing and heated grips :p

@NatGas: Sounds like you already got permission, strike why the irons hot :thumb:

@Jim: You're still a teaser!!! You're little "slips" are like sitting a banana outside the monkey cage just far enough that they (we) can't yet reach it...

OMG Tony :D ....I think you need to sell that old mod on the classifieds and buy a second Poldiac. Does that get through airport security?

That's not old it's a bolt I did a mod to. I was using a ego 18650 I did a mod to but the top kept falling off. It was press fit and it took many drops. The did kicked its ..... So I decided to mod the bolt I had. I bought it but the switch was crap so I stopped using it. When the ego broke once again this week I decided to mod the bolt for my bike ride. I actually have confidence in this one no press fit

Not totally sold on it. 28 or 30 still is my fav. Need to work with it more. Learning curve I think.

Hey Tony. If you want your Gemini to sit flush with your top cap, attach the top cap to the Gemini then adjust the cneter post lower. Screw top cap with attached Gemini and its all seemless.

Just a little off topic here if you will indulge me for a moment. I have applied and interviewed for a new job and am waiting for a reply back. I thought waiting for vape mail was hard but this is killing me. It will be about a 40% increase in pay and is right up my alley. This could be a very good thing for Jim also as I plan on bumping up the vape budget:D. If you could pray, send out positive thoughts or anything else you are inclined to do I would appreciate it. I think of this thread as a part of my family and appreciate all of you, thanks!
