Cool Bumps! I had the same revelation about not buying anything else. My MMV gear is just so satisfying that I can't bring my self to drop coin on any the the other "latest/greatest" things I would've been in line (or on a list for) a year ago. Like Jim says, "simple and works for life..."

That was my plan until.....eBaron Dripper so good too!

I'm holding myself from buying another DID in the classies because i'm waiting for the D22...but i don't know how long i can resist lol

I was trying to hold off myself but broke down and bought an original D20 in the classies, I figure you can never have too many DIDs:). I have also sent my DID to Spectrum for fitting for some colored Pyrex (sorry Dspin, love the SS but also appreciate a nice glass tank). On a side note my training in MS ends Saturday and I get to go home! Thanks all for helping to make the time away home and family pass quickly.

Any difference in the hit

Tony

Difficult to say because I don't have a sub-1-ohm coil yet.
To me it hits the same, but may be if you would messure it there could be a difference.

But this is now completely brass, even the contacts.
So there is sure a difference in cleaning :)

I have natgasman bringing me back brass contact set. I prefer not to clean once a week. Putting brass post in Gemini also Should make up for some loss.

I don't know if you win with the brass post, because that will take more cleaning-care whilst it is in contact with the juice and tarnish faster.
I ordered the brass contacts for the Poldi as spares. But when I'm on the road, I don't want the sudden need for cleaning, so I changed the contacts to brass for my coming trip. And for now I notice no real difference in the force of hit.
May be because the batterie-tube is now also in brass???

I hear ya. I would wipe it clean when I re wrap. Went to ss when I broke it. I will try for a while. See if I run into problems. ilI update ya after I use it or a while.

On the subject of brass vs stainless as contact material in the DID I find no difference, as for external use brass for me personally is a definite No! my sweaty paws and brass don't mix. I like the quick wipe over of the stainless too much, also I just love the look of all stainless as it always looks new and bright and performs very well for the purpose I bought it for a good Vape !.
Please excuse my little rant, for today I celebrate 1 year smoke free.

I love the two together.

Sweet Set Up :D Looks very very much like mine :D I love it :D The thing hits harder than anything else I own for sure, and with a switch body and a top cap I can run another one with a different battery size because I have all the tubes, pants for them, an extra bottom cap and shirt :D

Huge Congrats Burnie :D Great Achievement there my Friend :D

Good Morning Everyone :D I am debating taking apart the Poldiac Switch today to check out the internals and see if they need a good cleaning. I seriously don't think they do though because this thing is hitting REALLY hard :D

Hope everyone is having a great day :D
Sincerely;
Nate

Okay, so I decided this morning that since I got my Poldiac used that I was going to go ahead and take apart the switch to check it's contents and see if tey needed a cleaning. It was hitting beautifully right out of the box so it was definitely not out of a lack of performance. I did find that there was some crud in there so I took it all the way down to bare bones and Took an electric toothbrush with some toothpaste to each and every little bit bob and doo hicky :D

Now I know that I have heard a lot of fussing and what not about how "Complex" this switch is. Well lemme tell ya if I can do it, ANYONE Can. This thing was a breeze to strip down, clean and put back together. I hit the magnets dead on first time and got it back together within a minute or two. I can seriously say I have never owned a device tat hits this hard on a 1.6 ohm coil. I do not know if I can go much lower than that on this without choking myself.

Jim, you have done a Superb Job on the Poldiac, as I already suspected you would, and now all I need to do is save up to get another switch and top cap for one of the other tubes and the #0683 Bottom cap so I can have Two functioning Poldiacs.

Thank you so much for the quality and passion you put into all of your products my Friend, This Sailor Truly Appreciates it :D

Sincerely;
Nate
