Im sorry, but I am new to Jim's wonderful products. I have had a Poldiac for about 10 days now. I absolutely love it. I have owned: P+, Paps, GGTS and a Gus. That is the extent of my mech mod experience. The Poldiac is heads and tails above all of them. I have a Caravela on the way. I cant wait to get it so that I can trade it to someone who doesn't know what they have with the Poldiac. I am also new to Genesis atomizers. I have had very little success in the past. But I think that I have finally figured it out with an RSST. Now that I understand how to use them and and appreciate them, I will be getting a DID ASAP. But I would like to know what the status is on the Poldiac/DID hybrid or at least the parts to turn a DID and Poldiac into the hybrid. If anyone can tell me, that would be great.

Finally home again!!! I got in about 3 this morning and fell out right away. Woke up to find the vape mail with my gently used DID waiting for me:). Thanks to all my MMV family for making my month away from home more bearable. Along those lines, I was only a couple of hours from j0ker and we had the opportunity to meet up for a mini vape meet. Its great to make new friends and feel like you have known each other for ever.

Okay, so as everyone knows by now, The Gemini is my Absolute FAVORITE Genesis Atty of ALL Time and I have tried a Boatload of them.

So what I would like to know from the Master Craftsman and Vaping Gear Guru Jim is..... Will there be a possibility of a Gemini Tank style with the 22.6mm DID in the Future, perhaps with the reduced chamber size of the D16? Like with the D 20 bottom on the Gemini with the Mini DID Top Deck we could have the D22 Bottom cap with the D16 top Deck and Cap.

Please Please Please :D:D:D:D:D
Sincerely;
Nate

Thank you all for the congratulations on being smoke free for one year, I know there will be No turning back and its all down to Vaping after trying just about all of the stop smoking aids out there without any usefull help at all.
Heart attacks, triple bypass, angioplasty and stents to repair blocked arteries were no deterant for any length of time, then last year I was introduced to E-Cigs at the time I had 3 cigs left they lasted for a week while I got used to the Ego T they were the last.

I started smoking at age 18 during army service in Aden after a nasty incident, and I guess cigs were kind of like a kiddies dummy in times of stress E-cigs are the replacement. I enjoy the feeling of good health, I can do things now that have eluded me for so long I walk for much longer I can even run again.

So yes I am very very happy to be free after 50 years of trying.
And as a bonus have saved AU$3276 on the stinking killers

Thank you all for the support.....Burnie

ps : Also my thanks also go to the manufacturers of the devices we use in our quest to be smoke free.....Jims are the best I have tried so far, but I still find a place for my E-go.

Congratulations, Burnie!
So you started almost the same time MMV DID...that's funny :)

Purchased my DID from e-vape.gr on 04/07/12 along with clear plastic (died last week) but DID #0266 still looks like new, has been in use daily since new think that say's something of the product.
Nothing Jim makes die's!

I had purchased a Pro mini v2 1 month earlier forget what sat on top, but it was crap and fell to bits, saw an article in the Aussie forum re: the DID the rest is history.

? just wondering was there a mass stampede for the DID on its release like now for Poldiac, well everything really?

Hey Burnie, I got my 1st DID (un-serial numbered, when Jim only sold the D20 standard) in the beginning of June 2012 and the order number was 561. If you had 266 there must've been ~300 DIDs going a month. Always been tons of activity around new product launches, but I think the popularity for all of Jim's products has been steady and strong since day 1. Remember, back then he was the only one selling super high quality Gennies from a website (no list) with fast shipping and always in stock.

I agree, for longevity, quality and availability as well as an AMAZING Vape the DID Line is head and shoulders above the rest in my Opinion. I also have an Original D20 which is still in use and has held up like a Champ in every way imaginable.

Jim simply makes great products, has amazing customer service is is genuinely an all around nice person.

That alone says worlds about the Man and the Products he creates.

Order ID: 1062
Date Added: 04/07/2012

This was original, then Jim gave a limited time 15/10/12 to get a top cap engraved with serial # special price so maybe my #0266 is wrong not sure how the numbering went, what ever I am happy with the goods. Maybe some didn't take up the limited offer.
The quality and service is second to none, and more new products to come. The guys unstoppable.

Gotcha, are you using reversed date format dd/mm/yyyy (silly me, I read your post as 7 Apr 2012 :p)? That would mean 1062-561=501 orders a month. I did the same thing with getting the serial numbered caps for 3 of my DIDs because I thought cool 1/2 price top caps for spares, so now I have a baggie of top caps. Of course it was more part of "the game" because I've never had a top cap go bad...

because I've never had a top cap go bad...

The only way to make one bad would be a heavy hit with a heavy hammer! but you have plenty for experimenting with air holes, even then if you stuff up fill with metal paste. :toast:

btw I ordered "O" Rings to suit all my needs from Bohemia Seal Czech AU$20 inc postage 16 days delivery, very pleased too as I could not get those little centre post buggers anywhere! it isn't fun crawling around kitchen looking when you drop one. So now I am fully covered for DIDs & eBaron.
