hello peeps, i am getting myself some ribbon from avidvaper site, i like my resistance to be at around 0.7 - 0.9ohm but i am totally unsure of which are the correct gauge:

A. 1/64 x .0045 9.32Ω per foot ( .776Ω per inch) .4mm x .114mm (30.77Ω per meter)

B. 1/64 x .0063 6.75Ω per foot ( .562Ω per inch) .4mm x .160mm (22.12Ω per meter)

Should I choose A or B?

Or a link to eBay directly so I would know which spec for the range of 0.7 - 0.9 ohms.

I don't know the Ribbon wire's numbers in relation to regular wires, but here is a chart I just saw on another forum, posted by VaporMan, that might help. (I also have no clue if the chart is accurate or not. They guys I'm sure will/can correct any iffys and maybe add on to the chart for Ribbon).

by going through the 2 links provided and according to my understanding, i should be select 0.9 x 0.1 which is the equivalent to the standard 27ga kanthal A-1 wire.

I am a 26ga vaper and do 3/2 wraps on most of my genesis devices. If i chose 0.9 x 0.1 for 27ga (the lowest i could find on the site), i am good to go?

I'm using 0.8 x 0.1 ribbon wire and with 3/2 wraps I'm getting ~.6 ohm coil with a standard DID

I like the SS set because it cleans easier, and it is only a tadbit less energetic than the brass in performance. The Positive post sits inside a protective SS sleeve inside the tank, it never comes in contact with your liquid. The only liquid that touches the brass is the condensation that forms inside the cover. Sure, some of it can drop back down into the tank through the wick, but it would be very miminal and I'm sure nothing to fret about. (but I'm not a scientist, so it's just imho).
Go with either one that suits your fancy, you can always buy the opposite set at a later date if you wish. They both perform excellently.
