I havent seen one negative word about these.... Now to survive the wait. This will be my first genesis, so i am very excited to try it! I am so glad to have caught the front end of this craze (soon to be anyway lol)

Krap,,the philippine knock off got here yesterday,,,DID is still in customs new yorkwell i finally DID it,,dang they are out of stock at the moment
Mine is also still in N.Y. customs. 6 days really?? They must be on vacation...lol.

I don't think they update the tracking very often. The day mine was delivered the tracking said it was still in New York!
I have bought tennis racquets from Europe and it stays in the customs for about 3 days and they don't update the status very well. Suddenly one day about 3-6 days after it enters customs, it appears on your doorstep and then they change the status.

I see. Thanks for the info. I can see I need to reset my thinking on this and start over. I had a couple and had nothing but problems. So I want to give this one a fair shot and learn as much as I can. Seems so easy that I feel like I dont need to worry as much.... the oxidising process protects the coil from shorting on the ss wick AND the atty body (battery negative).

Edit: .. in fact, with my setup, I've just held my DID upside down for 4 or 5 minutes with NO leakage whatsoever. Amazing little device, great threads, that ALWAYS aligns the air hole in the cap with the wick. Love it, haven't put it down for the last fortnight, original wick, original coil, still going strong!!!

Striker you will see a big difference w/ this one. Everyone is different but this worked so well for me compared to others.
That's what I hope for. Will be getting a Provari and a ext cap, along with this atty. Will be putting my orders in tomorrow. I cant wait to vape something that won't piss me off all day long.

Wait till you get it and see.... it's not difficult at all. I'm a total disaster with these types of things and this one just simply works. No modifications, making holes, making dual coils - 4 wraps of resistance wire and - voila - she vapes.
Bought mine (order #257) on the 29th of May and received it yesterday (June 5th). That's from Greece to Toronto, Ontario Canada in less then a week.
I ran through a lot of wire before I got it right. First genesis style atomizer ever and I kept burning out the wire right at the brass nut. Just a quick pop and the wire was shorted. I'm pretty sure it was all my fault. Not sure what I did (no pun intended) but I eventually got it going and it's tooting like a steam boat now. Good thing I picked up a spool of wire off eBay!

Much appreciated bud. I fear I'll be needing a first aid kit before any spare wire though. The thought of me and a blowtorch oxidizing wicks and wrapping wire....lol. Accident waiting to happen. Thankfully my wife doesn't know what I'm up to yet. I'll just tell her it's a fancy incense burner when it arrives.
My wife saw the blow torch and has threatened me with divorce if I ever switch it on inside the house. Last weekend, I attempted filing it with gas and that was a minor disaster. All I am hoping for is to not burn down the house.
LOL. I could not get my new torch to burn the first time I used it. Had to hold it flat or downward just a hair to keep the flame going. Bet it has a lot of air in it. My butane is about 10 years old. Another trying ordeal on a bad day.
