What size is the wick hole diameter? I don't have the tool to measure it.

So I thought I would walk away from it for a bit to reset so I went for a much needed exhilarating fast drive in the car. "DiD" that, felt much better. Get home told myself to give it 1 more try with a complete new setup. "DiD" that. New wick,oxidized and wicking beautifully. DiD the paper wrap for coils, 3 coils,1.6 ohms, glowing evenly immediately perfectly. ""DiD"" NOT get any flavor......AGAIN. Once you have this thing perfect is their a break in period or should the flavor be 100% instantly? I honestly don't know what to think at this point , since I quit smoking my tastebuds are amplified big time! Please don't anyone take ANY offense to this but if everyone thinks this has so much flavor it makes me wonder what were they vaping before this or any R.A. The juices I vape are POW IN YOUR FACE FLAVOR!!!! A ton of flavor. I stick with the Boge 801 fusions exclusively and I've never tasred this filler taste everyone speaks of just my full flavored juice. Im going to try some 30awg kanthal and see if I have better results and probably a better type and process of wicking....if that doesn't change this 0 flavor issue, I hate to even say it because it's so beautiful, but it's honestly no good to me to the classies it goes.
What I do once the coil is set up and I know it's working, I take the juice I will be vaping and let a nice layer of it build up over the coil. Just keep dripping it on while firing it up. I find this makes for no break in time.
The wick is better after just 2 days but you should still get a lot of flavor right away. Ask someone to vape on it, see if they can taste your flavor or go to a vape meeting, plenty of good people there willing to help you make this work. It's not impossible you just don't like these atomizers too.
Where can you get one of those tanks??? I'd love to try that.
Maybe your buds are getting tired as I've found & IMO (YMMV) the Smoktech 1.5 - 1.7 ohm DC's to produce better flavor and vapor than the Boge 2 ohm. LOL, maybe the jalapeño pepper testing and wake up fire may not be a bad idea.
8-o.Hope you get it worked out, cause when you do, it's like BAM, wow, where have this taste, flavor and TH been.

Well I'llllllllllll be.........I think I finally taste a little somethin like the juice I put in this thing. Ah ....yep yep. Thats my juice alright. It's not full on crazy flavor but I'll take it....and maybe it'll get better the more the coils get gummed and gunked up.....sounds good in theory anyway. Fingers crossed. Thanks for ALLLLLLL the help folks, it's truly appreciated.
Good to hear. So now leave the set up alone and give it a couple days to season. It will get better.

I've finally just about read and caught up on all the posts here as well as watched a lot of reviews and I am intrigued\curious and ready to try\buy LOL.
I've tried the G-Tank US but was just too fidgety for me and when I finally got it working (no shorts) the vape was waaaaaay too cool for me, I guess due to the outer steel tank.
So after watching Scott's review he did mention he got a cooler vape so figured I would ask those on here what their experiences and opinions were. The most important thing to me is TH, gotta have the TH and while I am on the co-op for the Mini Scuba and like the idea of being able to turn the cap and adjust where the air hole is, wasn't sure if the DID was for me or if I could just put on O-rings on the top to give myself the ability to adjust where the air hole sits?
Also read thru the whole brass and stainless discussion and is there any real concern other than just having to clean the brass more? I'll admit that I am probably now too OCD when it comes to what I vape considering I smoked for 17 years and even though I've been vaping for just about 2 years I still learn something new everyday oh and I am not trying to start anything or bring it up again but just trying to expand my knowledge.
Are those clear\white\frosted Smoktech tubes for the Standard DID or the Shorty? I thought about getting the Shorty version but do like the option of being able to use a clear tube and the juice I use hasn't had issues with Poly tubes.
I was going to try to get a Line V2 but after finding and seeing this, this might be a better option...has anyone tried or used the Line and can you compare the 2 via performance, shorts, easy of making coils, etc.? It seems like the DID would be A LOT easier to give a good cleaning and easier to completely disassemble.

Something is definitely wrong there, mine was in NY on the 14th, got it on the 23rd.
