You can take a faster draw or turn to cap so the hole is further away from the wick.
If I make a 3ohm coil, and vape it at 5 volts. I wonder if the TH would be more significant.

Heh. DONE. Just like my credit limit after the next few planned DID/mod purchases. Not to mention the requisite jewellery gifts for my wife as the necessary appropriate equalization gesture. She's learned fast.
You probably already know...
If you don't line up the airhole to the wick, it will produce alot more throat hit, the vapor would suffer abit though. Since it's a little vapor machine, I don't think a little less vapor would be too bad.
You could either do that or apply a little piece of tape to,partially, cover the air hole. Same effect

@Nicblazer, no problem--I thought it was needed. Since I don't have the technical wizardry as dspin or JW, I figured I have some skills at tackling certain undesirable tasks, so I had at it. It was a lot easier than cleaning up hoarder's houses! (Which is something I have done several times.) I think I will tackle indexing the Zen thread next...PSYCH! Not a chance!

hmmm went to pre-order my DID and now there's a mini option well not sure which one to buy now
if you want to increase the th you have to have a smaller air hole, so it is difficult to increase it in the DID. but I do different thing to increase the th. if you have a spare small o ring that comes with the DID kit, try to put the o ring in the filling screw and close it tightly, then you will get better th and better wick.
many people said that if you open the filling screw it is better for vapor production and wick, which is not true. the reason is if you vape with opened filling screw there will be no pressure in the tank and the air in the tank will come through 2 holes (filling hole and wick holes) but if you screw the filling hole tightly with o ring and vape it, there will be lot pressure in the wick hole that make the mesh really wet and you will never have a dry vape and decrease the hot spots, and as you know more juice in the mesh means more vapor. in addition because the air will become just from the wick hole that is very close to air hole, you will get better th.
if you really get what I said try it and tell us your experience

You'll love the one you get so much that you'll be back for the other anyway. I'd start with the regular sized one, because it might be easier to get the hang of wrapping and coiling with larger mass to work with.

Like I said earlier today, I will continually update (for the foreseeable future) and post newer versions once every couple of weeks. I wish I knew if people were actually using it...besides me. hahaha
from this forum I learned some techniques in vaping and english as well, it's finally paid off

Jim both of my Clear tanks came today for the Shorty and Regular DID's thank you so much. Currently running a 2 wire wrap on both of mine and there running in ultra Hi Performance Mode, just loving thee DID's

That's purely awesome, I got mine running like this and its just unbelievable how these things put out when done the right way. I was using to many wire wraps when I first got mine, now doing the 2 wire wrap they just kick better Azz and put out massive vapor and flavor.

I'd go for the mini because of the smaller chamber since i prefer a warmer vape.. although i must say a MICRO MINI DID is really want i want from Santa Claus this Christmas.. 1ml capacity, 46mm x 14mm that vapes warmer than the summer in El Azizia, Libya

A two wrap, hmm. What is your resistance, what voltage you putting through. Are you using a fat wick?
