Thanks for all your help man! I still think out of all the high-end devices and accompanying threads, this thread has the most help from the most down-to-earth people!

YW Mr.Mann. I enjoy helping. Jim has done well at creating a family here. My first dealing with Genesis was in the HOH thread. Id ask away and get nothing but crickets. Just then someone would ask the most trivial thing, and people would come out of the wood works. So I know how it is and I wont be that guy. Whats worse is if it was your only option and you could not figure it out. That was me.

Ain't it funny that the device that is accessible, has a ton of help to accompany it, is affordable and of high quality, is still yet to be thought of (by some) as not on par with the more popular devices that are never available, more expensive, and also very problematic to deal with? I like it better this way. Sometimes--and I have been caught up in this to--the most inaccessible things with the most ungodly hoops to jump through, take on a life of their own. Yes, I would still like some of those mythical devices, but it is categorized in my brain along with many other things that I want that are ultimately trivial.

Ok a few stupid questions...
1. if I go on the site and click on add to cart is that "pre-ordering" for a full size DID? I'm seeing how awesome these are and want one.

2. if my converter is right it is around 100.00 US?

3. any problems with shipping? whats average ship time to say Florida once it leave EU?

Sorry to be a pain guys.... just really excited about this thing from all I've heard and want to move up in the RA world!

1. there are 3 options, Regular DID/ Shorty DID/mini DID

2. Approximately, you never know. Paypal's exchange rate is usually pretty crappy but even so, you will not be hit with $20 extra.

3. the hold up usually is with the US Customs. You just don't know how fast they will process your package. Can be a day, can be a few. Once it leave EU, its just a day's flight to get to US Custom.

you won't regret it. DID is awesome!

Okay, so it's time for me to order new juice (well, not new but restock the old) and I am a bit gun-shy. I normally vape 18mg+ but since The DID is coming I am thinking that maybe I shouldn't order so much in high mg. Decisions decisions! Any advice out there? Does anyone actually vape 18mg out of their DID that's not in a coma?

Mr. Mann...MAKE YOUR OWN JUICE!!! That way you can use your extensive knowledge of this atty and you can done DID Everything to create your vaping nirvana! Sorry I can't remember off hand what pv you use, but if it is VV you can make your own necter of the gods to match your mesh, coil design, the coil itself, voltage, wattage, and resistance to create your own personal perfect. That is the entire reason I got into the mods, diy and now rba's.

BTW...Hello everyone! I've been reading this from the first post for a couple of weeks now and am (not so patiently!! STUPID USPS) awaiting the delivery of the culmination of my ideal vaping experience!!! I currently am vaping on a Saber Touch that is 5V regulated w/2 AW IMR 16350's and a liquinator. (so OBVIOUSLY it was time for an upgrade!) This place has taken the majority of my spare time, but I am stoked for this baby to get here! I only want the BEST, and after all I have read this is it! I do have a quick question for the veteran "DIDiots" (lol) out there...with my pv specs, what wick coil set up would you recommend?

im having the same problem

The ProVari is vers sensitive. I have V1, which limit is even lower than that of V2. When I make the new mesh and coil first I always measure the resistance. If it too low, the PV will just not hit with it. With the V1 I guess 1.3 ohms is the least I can go.
Otherwise I got E only if it shorts. That is easy to spot as in most cases part of the wire glows. If not and still E, check the wire as it may touch the base somewhere. Other than these there should be on Es.

I ordered my DID on the 17th July and it's still not arrived here in the UK.

Unable to read Greek so have no idea. Last detail provided on tracking was 26th July.

I make that 18 days since ordering.

Well it all depends on the amper limit of your regulator. If there is non, you can try LR typ of coiling, which is about 1.7-1.8 ohms. Nevertheless for 5V I rather suggest something like 2.2-2.4 ohms. Basically the resistance of what you use now should be a target as a start.

To measure how many wraps you need on the wick is a bit tricky. You should buy a multimeter and choose the length of the coil to match the ohms (just don't forget to deduct the internal resistance of the multimeter). Then you can wrap this length around your coil and will get the needed ohms.
I do not know what kind of wire you will have coming with your DID but if you want higher ohms on longer run you will need something with 0.14-0.16mm width. If it is thicker you should make too many wraps which might lead to hotspots.

I totally recommend this rebuild-able.

Its easy to assemble and use , affordable compared to other same style atomizers , and fairly easily attainable.

For me personally not on par with the Odysseus or Penelope but a very good vape indeed.
