Nice Mini.
Im so ...... right now. Spent 3 hours working on the orion. Finishing up the rough edges from drilling the wick hole. Made my 400 mesh wick and coiled up a 30awg coil. Spent way to much time fighting the top coil thanks to that stupid ... spring set up. Then when I finally gave up and went to screw the cap on I still needed to break and cut the wire. So I am twisting the wire at the bottom and snap! Wire came out of the screw and kinked my mesh really bad. I am ready to sell this thing and get a DID Mini with a P+. This has always been my issue with the Orion and after all this I am fed up. What should I do guys? Should I give it another try tomorrow or just list it? DID is so easy. Orion; PITA!!! I hate that I have to start all the way over. So aggravated.

If you guys want to tighten up the bottom coil nut. I added a tiny amount of SS mesh inside the nut.

Striker, you should definitely stick with it! The orion is a real ..... to get going (damn those washers, what a garbage system), but once you nail it, it's without a doubt the sturdiest hybrid in the game, or at least until Jim makes one.

My juices are just too delicious. I vape instead of eating. I use 4 or 6 mg nic and have for a long time. I tried 0 nic but found my brain had no off switch I wanted to drink the stuff
Thank you Uma! I really couldn't be happier with it!!!!! I think the engravings are just PERFECT! They're just so elegant and add such a strong sense of completeness to the aesthetics of the device (not to mention sentiment )!
If any of you are familiar with the GGTS, the engravings on the mini DID are slightly shallower than those on the 2012 TS, though much deeper than those on the original TS.

Word up! Now that would be the ultimate! A 14500 hybrid with the mini's vapor chamber, a 18650/18350 dual tube setup for the standard DID, and a 26650 hybrid to rule them all! Am I the only one who's desperate for a 26650 hybrid? Hell, I'd kill for a 26650 510 mechanical mod!
LOL, it would make the std DID look like a mini, but 5000mAh battery would last a couple days.

Perhaps a silly question, but will all minis have the metal madness logo engraved on top? Would sure be nice to have one that's all engraved, it's beautiful!
Thanks. I am embarrassed to say that I don't know how to make my webcam work. Will have to have my wife help me with that. All I use is a digital camera and don't know if they can be used as a webcam. I will work on getting the Orion set back up and work on the webcam thing in the mean time. Something has to give.
Went to the lowes and they said they don't have a nut as small as the one used on the Orion so I can rid myself of the stupid spring. How nice of lowes to come into town and put all the mom and pop hardware stores out. Its hard find help that's worth a dam at lowes. I think you said the DID brass works on the Orion though. Will have to give that a shot when I order my Mini.
Yes, they will all have the MM logo and they will also all be engraved with a unique serial number. The serials will start at #101, while #1-100 will be used for a special project Jim is working on. Same goes for the Gemini.
Do a search on ebay for m2 nuts . That's the size used on the orion
