My mini arrived today #0138. Got it up and running. Wow those parts are tiny. Vaped just fine. Think I should have got the shiny though. I think the shiny looks heavenly. Might polish mine up a bit. The satin doesn't match my satin mods just perfectly. Shiny goes with everything. Works a charm though.
Now I have a big order in for drip tips and stainless steel kits for all my other DIDs. Jim should be able to send his kid to college with the money I have spent. Once my GGTS comes in I will have all my dream mods which will all proudly sport a DID.

For those on the fence I would get a regular DID first, it is bigger and the parts are bigger. The mini is cute as can be though.
I won't be getting the Gemini .....the form doesn't match my style. I say that and I will see a picture of one on here one day and think oh.....why not add it to my collection. 7 DIDs should meet all my flavor switching needs.

I'm with ya.. I'm slightly disappointed in my decision to grab the Satin Mini. All the pictures of the polished version look amazing. Not to say the Satin is bad, just not a pretty as the polished. It does looks decent on my Precises though. I'd be afraid to polish mine, as it'd be a bummer to polish off the engravings. Also, those parts really are tiny!!!! Should be interesting to setup :) God forbid I drop one of those TINY top nuts!

Does anyone know if there are any reviews of the mini DID , I wanted to know how it compares to the normal DID , I can't make my mind up on which one to get. Is there much difference in flavor and vapor with the equivalant wick and coil in each one.

For those of you that have both I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks

If there could Be Only One - I would choose the original standard DID

Welp. mine didn't. Hopefully tomorrow!!! I just traded off my Hellfire-mini, so I need this did for my motorcycle trip!!! Otherwise I am taking bigger hardware with me then I wish. Every bit of room counts on the bike.

Do they come registered grabeard? As in have to sign for the package.

Hey JR, you need to sign and my mini took 17 days to arrive from day of shipment

Ty, Jim meant for the DID to be polished, example, nothing finer than a polished DID - IMO

Mini DID on Smoktech Telescopic (revised) - YouTube

Got mine yesterday shipped 23rd got it 29th :)

Got my mini yesterday too. Shipped the 23rd in my mail box the 29th. In California. I got #165. This thing is awesome. Right now I have it on a precise+ 18500 at .8ohms!! 17 watts of vaping goodness. I had it on a 14500 imr mod but the power doesn't come close to the aw IMR 18490. I'm in love... Again

Get a Gemini + Standard top cap & tank + Mini bottom cap & tank. The you could mix match to use any of the 3
(I'm pretty sure the center post/pin on all three is the same just different on the shorty and in one of Jim's photos he's inverted the Gemini tank so the ends must be the same)

I don't see how gemini having a top cap and center pin from the mini - could mix and match with mega. any1 can confirm ? Mega is much wider than mini on top ..

The standard DID and the Shorty DID use the same top/bottom (just different tank, pin and center post ). The Mini uses different end caps/tank (but I think same center pin and post as Std & Gemini). Pics probably speak better than I do, if you look at Pic #1 in the photo album you can see what it looks like turned around (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...o-bigest-atomizer-album-ever.html#post6779069). In order for Jim to have done that, the Gemini must have the same specc'd top (Mini) and bottom (Standard/Shorty) which can be reversed.

So, it appears the Gemini comes with the same top as a Mini, the bottom of a Standard and the same center post/pin as both + the unique Gemini tank. If you completed the set with a Std top&tank and Mini bottom&tank you could assemble any of the three (but only one at a time)

Sorry, even though it is possible it probably isn't very practical. The thought came to me because I'm actually looking at it from the opposite direction (I have Std, Shorty and Mini so all I need is the Gemini tank to make one)
