Thanks, any accessories I should get besides a clear tank?

I would get extra center pin, nuts and O-rings. Far as a clear tank, why not use it the way Jim intended - all SS, much more elegant and classy IMO - you will learn to determine when you are nearing end of juice. Even if you had a clear tan k you would still carry juice with you. IMO and only my opinion - I would not put a clear tank on a DID if you paid me to. Its just that beautiful as it is.

Twisted coil attempt. 5 wrap 32 kanthol 1.2 ohms. No real change to vapor or flavor. No shorts, or hotspots. Just a quick wrap and started vapeing, didn't have to do any fiddling or bumping coils around. Was stable and good to go immediately. Easiest coil I've wraped yet. I don't think I've gotten the tightness around the wick this perfect till now and I was barely trying.

The pigtail you can see coming off the + nut works great for quick adjustments down the road. Thanks RW for this amazing tip from your videos

I don't use the clear tanks either as they look cheap-ish in my opinion but I can understand why people do.What ever you like is always the best as it is all down to personal taste.

Not anymore! I couldn't resist any longer :D I think I have all my bases covered now except the DID. After that, I should be set for a long time to come. Hmm, wonder if a mini DID would fit the Icon LOL

It does I've done it. I would post a picture but it's not letting me. Saying I don't have permission or something. Whatever.

You know, after reading about certain juices cracking tanks, that's just what I'm going to do. Thanks!!

Well - I'm with you to a point. My two DIDs have SS on it. My 3rd was an accident. I ordered "spare parts"....and when it showed up, I didn't realize what went into the cart, so I "built" my 3rd DID - and only had the clear. But I'll take that over parts sitting in wait in my box. :D

U know, I'd love a clear tank that doesn't crack... Had a clear Kir Fanis tank on my DID, but it cracked today, due to come cappucino juice :( What a sad day.

Anyone know of any clear tanks that do not crack for the DID and maybe for the Mini DID?

cappucino? really?! Wow!

Yup... Cappucino flavor from Inawera.

I sincerely doubt that it had any issues prior to this juice, however, when I got up this morning it had emptied the tank on my table... couldn't understand it until I noticed the two cracks from bottom to top.

Thankfully I have the steel tank, but I just really like the look of it with a clear tank :)

I'm with you. I wish I could get a hold of a Pyrex or quartz tank for my DID. I also love the SS, its just, I remain a klutz when filling the SS. I get the job done, but must admit its nice seeing my level. I use the clear for what I consider safe juice like, caramel, or butterscotch, I use the SS for Cinnamon, or citrus flavors. I have used the clear for Kona velvet milkshake from Virgin with no crack problem. Still, I am surprised someone is not working with Jim to produce a glass or quartz tank of some-kind, given the popularity of the DID. Nevertheless, love my DID as is, and will work around the above situation.

I love my clear tanks. Call it juvenile, but I like seeing the juice splash around. The juice cracking is because of the PMMA/Polycarbonate materials used in these types of tanks. I would gladly get pyrex/fused quartz, but I think it would be incredibly fragile because you'd have to make them (at least the part that attaches to the tank top/bottom) as thin as the SS tank or it'd break up the profile (stick out on the sides). I know some of the acidic juices (like Pluid!) will crack them, but I've been using Caramel Cappucino with no etching/cracking. Bummer that happened to you :(

At least they're cheap, I do keep an extra for all sized DIDs for the day one of mine grenades.

Hi guys, worth to note Greek postal tracking has issues. Couldn't even track mine since 29th but it arrived in my hands today.

Special thanks to Jim & his team on their customer service.

1. U can't go wrong buying any of the DIDs
2. U can't go wrong on the quality
3. U can't go wrong on their service efforts
