This is not true. The provari has a 3.5 amp limit in the lower voltages then a 14.5 watt limit in the higher voltages. It is unfortunate. Mine has not been getting as much use scene I got my dids I don't know why they had to go and put that watt limit on it. With my V2! I can only output 5.1-5.2 with a 1.8 ohm coil provape will confirm this

Hey thx for that. I never knew there was a power limiter, always thought the switch amperage was the controlling factor. Then again, I never vape much more than ~9 watts so never would've found out first hand.

Frogster, I would also consider the Kick from Evolv. I think you will be happy with your GGTS set up.

I have a kick in my GGTS....and yes, I'm lovin it. :)
I admit, depending on the coil, or the juice, I don't always USE the kick. I may remove it from time to time and just toss an 18650 in. But it's there, and dedicated for use in it.

Vapemail brought a package from Greece!!! Finally got my mini-did, and its a beauty, new guts for my trusty DID, ya I went the stainless route, now I have brass extras in case my fat hands break the positive pole. Going to oxidize a nice piece of 500 mesh later and put it to the test. Still waiting on my mech mod that will house my mini, but will fire it up on my lavatube for now. Eyeball of mini DID looks like its up to Big Jim's standards, as I expect no less :), fun in the house tonight!! BTW, that other thread is turning useless, can't change minds and hearts that don't want to be changed, Oh well, so be it. All I can do is try and do the right thing myself, all else falls into place, later gang!

I went through my spat for the first week or so of owning a DID so bad, and then got used to it, it's quirks, it's setup, etc. Then I brought in SS innards. Actually went through another "struggle" phase. All those quirks I picked up on the thread and through my own experience as far as coiling low, nut stacks, etc no longer applied with the SS spacer, lower wrap, etc. But - I'm sure it was just me - or a bad day. All well now.

Got shipment notice on the 18th and a notice I missed the mailman today. Time to call TNT tomorrow and get my DID. I can't wait to struggle to get this thing going and be in love with this thing. Wish me luck I am not sure how well my German is going to be tomorrow but I will try.

Most TNT-people in Germany speak some English.
Or at least sort-of-Swedish-cook-English, like me :)
You'll be fine...it's already very close...you can't miss it!

OK Mini-Did setup with 33 awg twisted coil, a 4 wrap, on a 500 mesh wick, rolled almost solid and fitting the hole with minor resistance. Ohm at 1.9. I can report we have a freight train arriving in terminal 2!! Big vapor, great flavor (80/20 pg/vg 15 mg nic, higher pg than normal, higher nic then normal, so I have something setup different than my other DID 100% vg, 6 nic) I used an eyeglass screw driver to tighten, because my fat fingers were a bit much for the small scale, it worked great. The machining itself seems perfect with buttery threads. Wick and air hole a perfect match. I gave it a pre-wash in alcohol and removed any machine oils etc. Set-up was easy. Again thicker coil seems to eliminate many of my early fumbling and gets to work real quick. Well done, all is well, just going to enjoy the vape. Anyone on the fence on this one should be comfortable to jump in. Thanks Jim, great Atty.

I love the enthusiasm you're showing is this post!

But suddenly I realised, only just a few weeks ago I would not have had a clue what you were talking about
Put this post in the new-member-section and assure people:
'don't worry, study hard and in a few weeks time this text will make complete sense!

Enjoy your new vape!

Since 9-11-01, and after watching Celebrity Apprentice, I have really wanted to visit New York, NY. Now I am over it. Because My Heart has been in New York for the last Seven Days as I look and have seen the following (over and over):

Bummer Pete, John Lennon said it best
Nobody told me there'd be days like these
Strange days indeed -- most peculiar, mama
I've had stubborn setups. Now, if it doesn't work right in a reasonable amount of time (or I feel like it's acting up on purpose just to see me scowl) I pull it, reburn it and recoil it. If that fails I chuck the wick and coil and start over. Hang in there...
