Somewhere in PA on my Ultra Limited
I thought this would be the perfect combination in the mid-size that would meet all the demands I had for my first 'life-time'-setup.
Well, I'm holding it in my hands right now and yes, for me this IS the perfect combination.
Everything is in balance in this combination

Very nice! Be sure to add the photos to the DID photo album...

Holy cow! The FedEx guys dropped this off for me!

Shipping notice the 17th and here it is on the 20th. I wait longer for stuff from the lower 48 after ordering most of the time :D

Holy cow, indeed. Congratulations!

I was going to put off staking out my mailbox for about another week or so, but it looks like I'm starting Monday instead... :)

Thanks, Wizard!
And yes, I will add to the Photo-album.
The Ti is soon to be released worldwide and people will look for something that matches.
And believe me, I did my research, at this time there is not much, certainly not in the smaller size.
So wenn they end up on Jims thread they are at the right place :)

(Might even be shocking its avalable and possible to order it on a website! )

My exact setup with the did, it should be perfect. I would suggest you must have a short somewhere. With my 1.9 ohm, at 3.7 v, I get great flavor and th. You are vaping at about 7.6 watts, more than enough to generate good vapor and th.

You must be right. Tonight I plug DID to my VV box, and batteries last for only 2ml. On other attys and genesis is 5-6ml. So it is wick, not the coil issue. Strange, I always check wick with multimeter for shorts and everything seems to be ok. Tomorrow I'll check it with ciggarete paper trick, maybe that will help.

I'm one of the cool kids now with my brand spanking new Ohm reader from Madvapes. :2cool:
I tested both my DID's, and they're both 2.40 ohms. How cool is that. The Mini DID is a 5/4 coil on the tiny wick, and the Major DID is a 4/3 on an of course thicker wick. No wonder I enjoy all my vapes from 3.7v-4.2v.

It's a fun new toy! I highly recommend one. It's also quite small, fits nicely into any storage container.

The ShortStop safety fuses for my mechanical mod arrived this week too. I'm chomping at the bit, rearing to go. Come on Customs!!

yup, even tho I have 3 provari that test ohm, I enjoy that same ohm tester (bought from elsewhere).
I also got a voltage indicator for mech mods. Tho the drop off is usually significant enough to not need it, it is still neat.

haven't bother with the fuse. may get a few just for that peace of mind but damn, they are like $9 and I am cheap :)

I have been using my mini-DID now for a week. It ended up on an eGo of all things for work (really need to look into some ego-c twists? to up the voltage a little). Used it a lot on a STURM MOD also, and the ProVari some also... anyways I am liking it a lot, and it is quickly turning into one of my preferred atomizers. With the quality that Jim is putting into his atomizers, I would love to see his handiwork at a 14500 mod for the mini and an 18xxx mod for the DID... or dare say I, a hybrid of some sort. Regardless, thanks for making the mini Jim, and thanks for going all SS (and thanks for replying to my PMs). The DID bleeds quality! I didn't purchase the original, because I was looking for a smaller form factor, and Jim delivered. Thank you. I wanted the mini to run on the STURM. I have used bulli-smokers, penelope, carto-tanks, hellfire mini, and the Line all on that SM, by far the winner is the mini-DID.

Cool. This device also provides a nice stable platform for constructing the coil.

After 3 weeks of utter bliss, and at least 10 perfect coils, I am having a DID day from hell! It's so strange how all of sudden I can't do anything right. I got so frustrated that I set it up using silica wick!!!!! Works pretty well by the way.
Well, tomorrow is another DID DAY.

Why are you changing your coil so often. ?
