My new Gemini. I'm running it with 4 wraps of 30g kanthal on a GGTS. It works beautifully.
How much juice does it hold? Looks great.

Jim, congratulations to you and your family!!
I took a gamble and bought this in the classies, my gamble paid off, my mini DID lines up perfectly with the top cap. Now it just needs a good brushing to match the DID and it'll be done.
does it line up straight to the Icon without any adapters? haven't used my icon, since you need a 510 adapter to get a connection with most rba's. if it does not require a 510 adapter, is the 510 fitting longer than most rebuildables?
It's actually a Prodigy, but no, no adapter was needed, you just need to adjust your center pin down a little. It will work on the Icon as well, but doesn't line up flush like that.

Got my top cap pre-ordered. I also got some spare nuts. I left a comment to hold the nuts until the top cap is ready to ship. I'm in no hurry to get them.

The two styles of knurled bottoms are pictured on Jim's site when you click the details for the top cap. I believe this is where you must order them and confirm the various info requested.
I think it's great Jim is doing this, as it must be a real headache for him to keep track of and confirm the orders as qualifying for this special deal. I doubt he's making any money on it and it's likely more of an appreciation gesture for his original faithful DID customers.
Congratulations Capt.Louisville, that looks fantastic!!! It's shocking to me that there appear to be so few Geminis out there! Expect tons of pics of mine when it arrives in the mail

Ordered sep9th and just got my did.. Funny thing is i barely got the tracking email today and a lil late cause the did is here. Now the tinkering starts

I'm gonna have to come out of my vape-related spending freeze for one of these top caps. Anyone know which style of knurling is the one on the original DID? I'm thinking it's style A, but I'm not positive.
I think you have to look at the DID you have, to put on the new cap.
Type A has the knurles like lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll (straight)
Type B has the Knurles like 'reverse slash' \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

Hmm, Jim I wrote you an email. Went to new site to order my special cap, but site does not know me. Tried to change password, but said my email does not exist. Bought lots of stuff with that email so just letting you know, so I can get my special cap ordered.

Hope this wasn't covered. I ordered two complete standard DIDs about two months apart.... Could I get two top caps at the discount? I'd actually get two anyway LOL. My newest polished one got scratched pretty badly and there's a blemish near the airhole on the first chromey one thats always bugged me...

I just got my DID today. I am very, very disappointed with this crap. I have changed the coil 6 times now, replaced the wire mesh twice. Still a piece of crap. The first problem I noticed right away is it is too airy. The air inlet hole should have been drilled smaller so the user can have the option to enlarge it very very slowly in small increments. The best thing they did is switch to stainless steel center rod and knurled nuts from brass. Gone is the allen panhead screws, but why not Philip head screws? With the Philip heads they will not fall off so easily. The wire mesh is the main problem. The coil windings short out onto the mesh itself. I watch it do it when the wick dries up. I wish he, the designer, knew that a ceramic type wick material is available, at least in the USA. They are available in different porosities. I found it when I was searching for the best wick to use if I have to change to a better material because I suspected that the wire mesh is a potential short circuit problem. They are available custom built to whatever dimensions you want. I hope they get to read this post. Why do those reviewers of the DID don't seem to report the negatives? Say it like it is! I do not recommend this DID to anyone. It really DID upset me very much.- Status
