Ok, love my did, got it today. First attempt at wick and coil, meh. Weak, cool vapor with kick set at 10watts.

Ok first bit of advise, take the kick out for now and adjust the watts by making the coil the right amount of ohm for you.
Miriam is dead right. The best way to learn is create coil for your wattage. I have stopped using kick and vv mods. I can pretty much create coils of around 1.9 ohm for all my dids and use straight mech mods, giving me wattage of 7.2-8.8, I generally change out bat at about 3.7 volts, the above range is my personal happy zone. Some like it hotter, some less, point is I can accomplish without voltage aids.

Do orders of the DiD automatically come with MM logo and serial number now or is that an upgrade option?
They come with MM logo and serial number now. The upgrade is only for the ppl that have the old none numbered versions.

Most people happy with the 1.2mm cap that comes supplied or the optional 1mm?
I realize the wisdom in this. I only have batts for my p+ with the kick. To go all mech now I'd have to go on archaeological dig for my silver bullet. Time to order some batts! Thanks.
