That's why Obama makes me give more of my money to others. :). After all my hard work and willingness to educate myself. Why should I deserve to keep the money I earn. Just a little bitter ... No more sorry folks.

Hey guys, does anyone have any idea when the umbrella style full DiD drip tips will be in stock again?

Not sure myself, but I am just checking in now and again to check on them and see if they are because if they are anything like the Delrin ones that come with the DID they are an incredible fit.

Thank you very much DSpin, I think I finally got that stubborn bottom coil working right and this bugger is working great. It is amazing how well this works on the juice that I have in it that I cannot really vape on anything else because it just does not taste right. Hopefully this coil will last me a good long while because it took a while for me to get the hang of this thing and how to wrap it with the proper distance from the wick to allow for excellent vapor without being so close that it constantly gives hotspots and shorts :D

Hope everyone has an awesome day;
Nate aka Darth Vapor

Glad you got it working and are loving it as much as the rest of us. I have had many genisis - but IMO the DID is the finest of all to date. You know me D - Nobody could pay me to say that if I didnt think it were so.

They are better than the delrin ones by 110 percent. They are perfect fit and finish for sure.

Oh Man, I was going through Pluid withdrawals so I had to have some of the Pluid i have that I cut down to conserve. I cut it too much though and lost a good bit of the taste of it. Well In order to vape that I have to have it in a stainless tank since I have no Pyrex ones for any of my rebuildables. So in order to achieve this I had to take down my DID to remove the Ice tank because I do not want to crack it with Pluid. I was thinking I was going to have a heck of a time getting another coil like that one built.

NOPE Decided I wanted higher ohms to take advantage of the power of the Provari my DID is sitting on so I wrapped a 5/6 coil of 32 AWG Kanthal and re rolled the wick and it came out to a perfect 2.7 ohms and glows like the dickens, even better than the other one because ALL of the coils are glowing perfectly, even that stubborn bottom coil :D

I am Very pleased with this beauty and cannot wait until it's Middle Brother gets here to join it :D

You are absolutely right, I have known you for over a year and I know you would not say something that bold unless it was the absolute truth :D

That is great news. I am just glad I have patience because I would hate to be impatient and end up being all stressed out over a drip tip LOL

Hope you are having a great day my Friend;

Um a you may be languishing the vapor in your lungs a few seconds. The longer you hold the vapor the less there is to exhale. Just kind of gets absorbed. Mine are pushing out vapor very well. I am actually on 0mg nicotine now. It is all about the yummy vapor now. One day here I need to make a video. My peach is 70% PG and puts out a lot of vapor. Right now I have a twisted 33awg 4/3 wrap giving 1.7ohms on a 500 mesh solid wick. Delicious. I have decreased the mesh to 110mm rolled tight. Leaves a bit of a gap around wick, wick really well. I don't think my lungs are capable of a 10 second draw. With a direct lung inhale I can manage a 6 second draw. My normal is 2 to 3 seconds for a mouthful
:lol:
The longer of a draw I take, the less vapor I can blow out, unless I do the double inhale such as blowing it out the nostrils while inhaling another draw. I can do it that way all day, if I could handle all that vaping lol. But, in normal vape sessions, the first 1-3 seconds of vapor is the most prominent for me. Yes, I do hit the button before touching lips, but the amount of time of doing so depends upon the wrap and the mod volts.
I don't know why it is, but the longer I toke, the less vapor I manage to exhale. It seems to dissapate before my very tastebuds. Maybe my saliva is too wet or too dry, or something lol. Here.. wanna see? :D

When I do long draws, that's what must be happening all right, cuz hardly nothing exhales from those.
That's why I much prefer my hearty 1-3 second draws. Very VERY satisfying exhale.
Oh cool, that'd be sweet, go for it! (video)

I think that you can save this top cap!
You have to screw the cap wile you pull it at the same time until the end
then unscrew the top cap wile you push it at the same time
do it until the feeling is like a butter again!
(you must do it many times though)
I am waiting!!!;)

Just wanted to mention a quick fix for anyone who has dropped or otherwise damaged the threads on their topcap and as a result is having issues lining up the airhole with the wick. As Jim mentioned in this earlier post you can easily fix a cap that won't screw down far enough, but he later mentioned that if it screws down past the wick position there is no solution apart from a new top cap.
I was lucky enough to aquire my second DID std from a friend,and as such I don't know how it was treated in his care, this is nothing negative towards Jim's build quality, but it always screwed down past the wickhole by around 4mm, not a big deal, but I still wanted to find a fix other than adding an unsightly o ring.
My Solution: I pulled the head of a cotton Q-tip and pulled a small piece of cotton wool from that and with a little wetting with ejuice pressed this 12mm thin piece onto the top few threads of the DId, I then marked a tiny line on the knurling with a sharpie marker where the wick sits and screwed down the top cap trapping the tiny piece of cotton wool in the threads, and to my relief it worked perfectly and absorbed that 4mm of play in rotation, it might not last forever, but it worked for me and just wanted to share. Again I state I don't know how my friend treated this poor DID before I rescued it from him, and my other DID I have had from new lines up perfectly with the wick every time. :)
